  1. Late Run Barbie Lot - $50 This is a lot of 4 late run barbie issues: Barbie #60, Barbie #62, and Barbie Fashion #52 and #53. The Barbie Fashion #53 is a newsstand, and is around a 7.0 due to a small stain on the bc. The others are nicer, around 8.5/9.0. Hard to find, low print run issues, especially hard to find in nice condition since most of the buyers weren't collectors, but little girls. If you want me to break up the lot, PM me and we can discuss. I'd prefer to sell as a group though.
  2. X-Men #244 - 9.0 - $45 SHIPPED This is a nice copy of Jubilee's first appearance. It has a slight stacking roll near the spine, so let's call it a 9.0.
  3. Betty and Veronica Friends Forever: Power Ups #1 Infinity Gauntlet variant set - $70 shipped sold!
  4. Star Wars: Heir to the Empire #1 - 6.0 - $110 shipped First Thrawn, first Mara Jade, etc. This has some rubbing and wear top right fc, and a little bottom left bc. It also has numerous spine ticks both front and back cover. Otherwise, flat, glossy, etc. I have this around a 6.0.
  5. G.I Joe #289 - Larry Hama Signed Collector's Edition - $149 shipped This is a recent, very limited variant. It was drawn by Larry Hama himself. The print run was limited to 100 signed copies. There were, however, some small number of unsigned copies as well. Not sure how many, it wasn't said, but my guess is that they printed some extra in case of damaged or lost shipments, and ended up selling those unsigned extra books. Unsigned copies have sold on ebay for $149, signed copy recently sold for $200. For the boardies, I'll sell the signed version for the unsigned price.
  6. Cursed Pirate Girl #2 - $115 shipped This is a super nice copy, let's say 9.4 because I don't like to grade above that. And I hate grading moderns This is signed in gold on the fc by the creator. It also has his stamp on the fc.
  7. All proceeds from these sales are going to fund the making of comics. I've been writing, drawing, and self-publishing my own comics for three years now and I'm looking to do some cool new comics. So in order to fund these new comics, I need to sell some of my old ones!
  8. 1. in thread trumps PM conversations. 2. In the case of multiple PMs, or take its, I will go by time stamp. 3. no HoS/probation people please. I'm Crimebuster, not Crimeenabler 4. shipping is FREE to the U.S., or $25 to Canada. Any import fees to Canada to be paid by the recipient. I wish this was easier, but they have made things real messy to ship up to Canada. 5. Paypal only please 6. please pay promptly, I have a crimefighting monkey sidekick to feed 7. If there's any kind of issue with the books, let me know within one week of receiving it and we can figure out some kind of return. But I don't anticipate any issues!
  9. I know most of you aren't super interested in this, but I am still doing my best to keep the Boy Comics spirit alive! The newest issue of my self-published continuation of Boy Comics is now live on Kickstarter. We're up to #123 now! Here's a look at the latest cover, which is an homage to the work of original Boy Comics artist Joe Kubert:
  10. The latest issue of my self-published comic The Crimebusters is now live on Kickstarter. This issue has been a real struggle for me. I've had a lot of health issues and ended up drawing all 36 pages while lying down But, it's finally done now! I'm also excited as this is my first issue done in color. I'm colorblind, so I did the first three in black and white, but this time I hired a colorist to do the flats so the colors wouldn't be weird. Making comics is always an adventure!
  11. I'm excited to announce that my new comic, The Crimebusters #4, is now live on Kickstarter! This one has been a lot of work for a long time. I've had a lot of health issues, and I drew this entire 36 page issue while lying down. But it's done, and I'm really excited, as this is my first issue that in color instead of black and white. Thanks for all the support with this project!
  12. Are we supposed to pretend Zack Snyder didn't make a Batman movie now? It was literally the last film version of Batman, so I think comparisons are more than fair. The Batman doesn't exist in a vacuum. It exists within the context of all the previous Batman movies. I swear, every thread in this whole movie section is you guys just arguing your goofy Marvel vs. DC and Release the Snyder Cut agendas like 8 year olds on a playground.
  13. Just watched this wife my wife. Geez, why didn't anyone warn me the movie is 7 hours long?! Much better than Zack Snyder's version, anyway. Robert Pattinson was very good. I liked this version of Catwoman and Gordon. Did not enjoy the movie as a whole, though. Batman essentially failed horribly as both Bruce and Batman - Riddler's plan works in part because Bruce is so self-obsessed he doesn't pay any attention to overseeing his charity, the city is completely ruined, untold numbers of people die, and Batman is a day late and a dollar short throughout. All so... he can learn a lesson about needing to provide hope? But we don't even get to see that - a scene with him as Bruce at the end deciding to engage with the community would have made a world of difference, but instead we just get another Rorshach wannabe voice over about it instead. Honestly, with all the bad guys being inspired by Batman and his obsession with vengeance, the movie seemed to be saying "we don't need Batman right now, we need a hopeful hero. Like... Superman?" Also hated this version of Riddler, and all the Jan. 6 / Hurricane Katrina stuff mashed up at the end was too much for me personally. Still much better than Batman v Superman. But please spare us all from yet another Joker in the sequel. Holy smokes, enough is enough already. Give us literally anyone else. Calendar Man, I don't care.
  14. I just realized I never posted the last part of the run!
  15. I'm bringing the new issue of my comic The Crimebusters to Kickstarter on May 15. It's a continuation of the Crimebuster series form the public domain Golden Age series Boy Comics. This time around I drew three covers for it: the regular cover, the Boy Comics variant (which is a tribute to the art of former Boy Comics artist Joe Kubert), and the Kickstarter Exclusive variant (which is homaging John Romita Sr.'s cover for the Marvel Treasury Superhero Holiday Grab-Bag special).
  16. Well, I have been remiss in posting stuff here, just have had so much personal life stuff over the past year that I haven't been around as much. However, I'm back, and so is my self-published comic The Crimebusters, which is a continuation of the Golden Age Crimebuster series from Boy Comics. The Crimebusters #4 will be coming to Kickstarter on May 15! But you don't need to mark it in your calendars. The pre-launch page is live, so if you go there and click the "Notify me on launch" button, Kickstarter will let you know as soon as it's live. Thanks for the support, everyone! https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/thecrimebusters/the-crimebusters-1-4-krampus-on-campus Here's a look at this issue's variant covers. The website doesn't like them this small so they made everything a little fuzzy, but the real covers are super high def:
  17. Not sure exactly how rare this is, but I picked this up at a show yesterday:
  18. Looks like I overshot the mark with the pricing. Like I said, no idea how to value this, other than that it still has a classic cover despite it all. So one time price drop from $140 all the way down to $90 shipped. I don't think I can go lower, as I'm sure the crazies on ebay will pay more than that. I also dropped the price on the All-True Romance.
  19. One more book. All-True Romance #24 - 2.5 - $39 $29 shipped People seem to like these post-code Ajax romance, which aren't always easy to find. Long spine split at bottom. Both staples are still attached, though bottom one is pulling away, Book is musty, like so many romance comics.
  20. Manhunt #2 - 0.5 qualified incomplete - $140 $90 shipped Some might call this comic wrecked. I'm going to call it "entry level." This is a Manhunt #2! With a classic electric chair cover. Someone has done a number on this copy: First, the centerfold is missing. This affects the Kirk of Scotland Yard story. Second, as you can see, there's tape all along the spine. Third, someone cut the bottom 1/4 inch or so off the entire book. This was not an attempt at trimming, because that would have been pointless given the rest of the problems. No, I was told this was a "library copy." Both the tape on the spine and the book being shortened have something to do with that. However, miraculously, the bottom of the book being cut off has not affected the interior stories - I have included a photo to show this. Lastly, the book is quite musty. A CGC 3.0 sold for close to $700 in 2019. This obviously is not close to even that. I'm just going to make up a number, which is $140 $90, and see how it goes.

  22. If memory serves, I seem to recall in a letter column late in the original Elfquest run the Pinis revealed they had indeed found a box or two that were never distributed and were selling them by mail to fans. I don't have my issues anymore to verify this memory is correct, but I think that was the case.
