  1. Good morning. Thanks for your message. Yes, you can certainly include books for the signing in the same box with books you are submitting for regular grading. You will just need to complete separate orders and include the different packing slips in the box and keep your orders separated inside the box. Still be sure to notate the private signing notation on the outside of the box so we know there is a submission inside for one of the signings. If you have any other questions, please let us know.   2. Good morning, Thanks for your message. It looks like there might be something on the inside of the holder. We do offer a reholder service where we can put it into a new holder. However, since you were not the original submitter you would have to pay for that service. You might want to contact the seller and see if they can have it reholdered for you. If you do want to submit that to us yourself, we are currently allowing free members to send in submissions through the end of May. When you renew from the Premium to the Elite level you will have to pay the full Elite membership fee as you will receive an additional $150 credit, essentially giving you $300 in credit for the year. Due to this fact, we do not prorate the membership fees when upgrading. If you have any other questions, please let us know. Thank you!

  11. Hello. The price is the same for a raw book and a holdered book. If you send a book in that is in a CGC holder, the book will have to be removed from the holder for the signing and put into a new holder. Once the book is removed from the original holder it cannot be put back into that same holder so it will have to be put into a new holder after grading. Thanks,

All packages are signature required so if no one is available to sign for your package then it will come back to us after UPS attempts delivery three times.   14. Hello, thanks for your message. Yes, that would be fine you will just need to do a separate order for the private signing and print a separate packing slip for those books. You will want to just clearly label things in your box so we know what goes with which order. Please also notate "FM" or "Private signing" on the outside of the box so we can get it opened ASAP and get those books in line for the signing. Thanks!
  15. Good morning, thanks for your message. Yes, you can certainly send us a previously graded book for any of the private signings. You can keep the books in the holder, however, there is a $5 fee to crack them out of the holder. Please note, if your book already has a signature series label then it will have to remain in the holder and we crack it out here in order to retain that signature series label. Please note also that the original grade is no longer valid once the book is cracked out and it will have to be regraded. There is no guarantee that the book will receive the same grade after it is signed and regraded. If you have any other questions, please let us know. Thanks!
  16. Good morning, thanks for your message. We do have larger size holders that are considered magazine or magazine sized holders. You will probably have to take some measurements to see if your book would fit in the largest holders. The max size we offer is: 11-1/2” tall 8-7/8” wide 1/2” thick Anything larger than this would not be able to be encapsulated. Thanks!
  17. Hello thanks for your message. Manufacturing errors in comic books are typically easily identified and known by our grading team. There *may* be a deduction, but how much would depend on the size and intensity of the error- along with the grade of the book otherwise. Good morning, You can notate that on either a raw book you are first sending in for grading, or if you have one that is holdered and you wanted it reholdered with that information on the label you can notate it with the holdered book. Again, this is noted at our graders' discretion and just requesting that first appearance designation does not necessarily mean that the graders will automatically put it on the label if they do not feel it is warranted or something that should be noted. The graders take many things into consideration when determining the grade and without actually having the book in hand, it is impossible to say how much something like that would effect the grade.   23. Good morning, Thanks for your message. Unfortunately, pressing would not help an ink stain. We do a dry cleaning along with the pressing process which can remove surface dirt and things such as pencil marks, but ink stains generally cannot be removed. I'm sorry about that! Thanks,
