  1. Good morning, thanks for your message. Yes, if your book is already graded and encapsulated you can leave it in the holder and we can crack it out here. There is a $5 fee to crack the book out. You do want to include a window bag in with your book that we can put the book into if you want your book to be signed in a particular place. If you have any other questions, please let us know. Thank you!
  2. Good morning, thanks for your message. Unfortunately, multiple signatures on the same book are only possible for artists that are doing their signing together. In this case, Amanda Connor is doing her signing with Jimmy Palmiotti so it would only be possible for these two to sign the same book. You would not be able to get Amanda's signature and Tom Kings signature on the same book. The only other artists signing together are Donny Cates and Ryan Stegman. All the other artists are signing at different times and we cannot hold your book for any of the other signings. If you have any other questions, please let us know. Thanks!
  3. Good morning, thanks for your message. Your membership credit is applied directly to your account and will be applied automatically to your grading fees when we receive your order. You don't have to do anything special on your end in order to utilize the credit. It will remain on your account until completely used up. If you have any other questions, please let us know. Thank you!
  4. Good morning, thanks for your message. It would really depend on the thickness of the magazine but for a regular sized magazine we could fit 24 magazines into one shipping box. Thanks!
  5. Good morning, thanks for your message. Please email a picture of the item along with your questions to our customer service department and we can double check with our graders on that. You can email them at: submissions@cgccomics.com. Thanks!
  6. Good morning, Thanks for your message. Unfortunately, we can't really provide any info without examining a book directly. If you are interested in submitting the book to us for grading, you can find more information on our website here: https://www.cgccomics.com/submit/how-to-submit/ Thanks!
  7. Good morning. Please email the invoice number and what you wish to update to our customer service department at submissions@cgccomics.com and we will try our best to get that updated for you. Thanks!
  8. Hi Rick, if you can provide your submission number, we can check into it for you. Thanks!
  9. Great, I'm glad you received the replacement. If you have any other questions or concerns, please let us know. Thanks!
  10. Good morning, Thank you for your message. According to our graders the difference would be: The Wizard Authentic Edition was distributed signed with a hologram sticker on the cover. The Wizard Special Edition was made with a platinum foil logo on the cover. If you have any other questions, please let us know! Thanks,
  11. Good morning, Thanks for your message. Unfortunately, I'm not seeing what you are referring to in these pictures. If you can send some additional pictures to our customer service department we can check into it further and send you information on how to proceed. You can email them to us at submissions@cgccomics.com. Thank you!
  12. If you are submitting a dealer application it can take several weeks for that to be reviewed and approved as we must contact your references, etc. You will receive notification once that application process has been completed. Thanks!
  13. Good morning, Thanks for your message. Unfortunately, we do not accept COA's as they can be easily counterfeited and it is difficult to verify. The only way for a book to get a signature series label would be for that to be witnessed by an authorized CGC witness or to be submitted to us directly from an artist accompanied by a creator agreement form. Thanks,
  14. Hi, please email a screenshot of the problem you are having to our customer service department at submissions@cgccomics.com and we can check into it further for you. Thanks!
  15. Yes, if the book was previously graded there would be a record of the previous grade in our system that the graders would see when they examine it. However, they will grade the book on the current condition of the book. Thanks!
  16. Good afternoon, We do recommend including your own window bags so that your book can be signed in the specific place you would like. We do have bags here we can use, however, you would not be able to specify the signature placement in that case. Thanks!
  17. Good afternoon, Once the book is removed from the holder the previous grade is no longer valid and there is always the possibility that the grade may change. Generally, if we open the book here and it is being pressed and then regraded the grade usually would not be lower, however, there are no guarantees with the grade, unfortunately. If you have any other questions, please let us know. Thanks!
  18. Good afternoon, Thanks for your message. The only way a comic can get our Signature Series authentication is if the book is actually signed in front of a CGC Witness, employee, or through a CGC facilitator, and we immediately accept the comics for grading. That way we know with 100% certainty that the signature is authentic. If you don’t have a witness at the time of the book getting signed, unfortunately we would not be able to authenticate the signature. When CGC is present at a Comic Con, we will have Witnesses available at the CGC booth that will walk with you to witness a signature. Go to the CGC booth before getting a signature and ask to have a Witness escort you. We have Witnesses available at multiple Comic Cons throughout the year to help you get your books signed and witnessed properly. You can find a complete list of the comic cons we will be attending at http://www.cgccomics.com/events We do not accept COA's as proof of signature as they are easily forged. We would recommend that you keep possession of your COA as we do not encapsulate them with your book. Your signed comics, if graded, would get our green Qualified label with a notation of "Name written on cover in marker" with no assertion of who may have signed the comic. By giving your comic our Qualified label, we are ignoring the signature for purposes of the grade. If you have any other questions, please let us know. Thanks!
  19. Good morning, thanks for your message. We do encourage customers to include their own window bags with their books, however, we do have a supply of window bags here we can use if one was not included. The only issue with this would be that you can't specify where you would like the book to be signed if you don't provide your own window bag. You should be fine, however, and we will still be able to process your order just using the window bags we have on hand. Thanks!
  20. Good morning, thanks for your message. No, these look perfectly normal. We no longer use the top sticker label on the outside of the book. All top labels will be inside the holder going forward. What you are referring to as "melting" on the holder is just how it can appear when our sealing machines seal the holders shut. You can always double check your book on our CGC certification lookup feature on our website at www.cgccomics.com. Thanks!
  21. Good morning, thanks for your message. It is true that our custom labels were not available in 2016, however, it looks like the book was sent back at a later date for a reholder to receive the special label. Reholders will retain the original certification number on the label which is why it is still showing that older number but has the new custom label. If you have any other questions, please let us know. Thanks!
  22. Good afternoon, Thanks for your message. We do not recommend removing books from our holders as this will invalidate the grade and may cause damage to your book. Unfortunately, we do not provide instructions on how to remove those. If you are wanting to send the book in to us for a regrade or reholder, you can keep the book in our holder and we will safely crack it out here on our end. If you have any other questions, please let us know. Thanks!
  23. Good morning, Thanks for your message. I checked with our graders on this and they advise: We would most likely qualify for the sticker on the book as long as the books are in the higher grade range. Some of them may come off without damage, but I wouldn't recommend it unless getting a professional to safely remove. Good news though is the publisher has said that their distributors will not be stickering their future books. If you have any other questions, please let us know. Thanks!
