As I suspected, the elusive #5 was the last issue I needed...thanks to Bobcat.Enterprises on eBay for this much needed issue! I have unmarked the set to Public so all can take a look. Think of most Marvel bronze horror titles Twilight Zone Boris Karloff Dead of Night Crypt of Shadows Journey into Mystery (2nd) Vault of Evil Tower of Shadows Weird Mystery Tales Black Magic Chamber of Darkness Weird War Tales (dupes) Ghosts (dupes) Witching Hour (dupes) Also some misc DC 52 pager 9.8s, DC war, etc. On the marvels, all 9.4 or better...most highest graded...it's the mother load if you are a marvel fan. It's all of my issues...took 3-5 years to get 'em...all offered in one whack. I used to have them in the Registry but killed them off. For the DC horror, it's my undergraded stuff...except for Black Magic and Weird Mystery Tales...I've decided to sell the entire sets! I'll do y'all a favor and at least post a list...getting it squared away this weekend. Keep in mind I'm still a SUPER fan of these books...simply "right sizing" my collection and my finances to boot. I'll surely not get what I put into them; hoping you guys can show me some love here and throw some mercy bids when they go into the next ComicLink auction... I've been particularly frustrated b/c some of my "key" titles in the past few years I've missed out on some of the only graded/highest graded issue because I spread out my collecting interest...now I'm reigning them back in a bit.

major PITA...we are talking about 300 books. I'm dumping 'em. Books are going for cheap prices...so have a field day! My DCs won't get the same treatment..If I do sell some of them, my asking price will be what it is...no buyers...no problem. That's usually not a problem b/c there are usually no buyers anyway . NOTE: Called ComicLink today...mailing em next several days. Will be sold over the next several auctions...working that out now. This is probably 25% of my collection, so no worries. I'm still the bronze horror king!

Well, I'm proud of the HOM census...those early issues still look like the CGC census when they opened the doors 10 years ago!!!!

Several reasons...primary being I've got too much stuff, I need to pay off bills, and CGC gives out 9.8s like they are candy. I'm keeping my Marvel horror 9.8 books and will "recollect" the series in 9.8 only when I see 'em and the price is right. I'm even contemplating wiping out a lot of my DC collection of certain grades as well, but one step at a time. I started out with DC horror...I may just end there... 300 books packed in CGC boxes ready to go...working out logistics. Selling them may be cathardic for me, who knows.

over-rated book...and I feel almost sorry for the amount of money the person who buys it and later resells it only to discover two or three has popped up on the census with the arrival of a 9.9. Also, the QP will make all of the difference in the world in terms of potential fetch...it matters more than the grade imo. I'm still waiting for the first 9.8 HOS 92.

Scanning my last box (4 boxes total) tonight...

Liquidation time...getting rid of all of my non-horror books...thinking about getting rid of my Gold Key/Charlton horror books...am I going to regret that? I'll probably sell off my Marvel horror first, since they seem to be perpetually available and in higher grades all the time. Trying to keep my collection to the primary five or six horror DC titles I read growing up...going back to basics! Probably going to ComicLink; would like to give Quality a try but they don't have the aggressive bidders I need in my genre. Almost finished scanning my Weird War Tales, I'll post it on one JPG like my Ghosts books...

I felt good about the price even after I bought it. It's....unexpected....

The collective IQ here is sad...oh how I used to enjoy real conversation here. It's not much more than a place for people to fart and burp...really. Also, keep in mind that temperature CONSISTENCY matters too.

I've assumed that you're caught up to around 55 or so... past that I've spoiler tagged it. So, back to the Gov for a minute. Wouldn't it be cool to understand the man's back story? I'd personally like to know (Anakin style I guess) if he was "normal" and just flipped out when his family was destroyed...I mean...he was french kissing his zombie daughter for kris sakes! So, why would a zombie bite infect a human yet fluid exchange like the above is possible? Gross readers wanna know! Why are the zombies getting too lazy to bite us? Are they running out of juice? Has Rick gotten over his wife? Not many phone calls lately... I was kinda let down by the lack of character development of the kids save Carl...are they just pawns for some future sick plot? Will Carl eventually be the Gov if he survives to man-hood?

I actually think it's a bit worse than that like Now THAT would be nice...yikes if that does happen... bwa wa hah ha ha!

Here here. I think some of the 1st gen TWD thread folks need to get this back to old school basics and show these n00bs how it's done... Here's my guess at what is coming up: So, how do you think this current lavish lifestyle will last? It doesn't seem like we will see some zombies for a while now...and we will concentrate more on the human drama. This reminds me of the early days they arrived at prison.

Your'e telling me. I remember balking at this issue oh just twelve months ago when they were going for more than $250. One thing's for sure, what comes up... I guess I'll sell mine just as the tv show comes around.
