I think it's time for a bump in this thread! The Button storyline is going strong. The latest issue, Batman #22, was fantastic. The final of the 4 part arc - Flash #22 is delayed a week which sucks...however we have the Lazarus Contract crossover arc starting in Titans next week which I'm really looking forward to. I found this DC Rebirth ranking from /R/Comicbooks last month, and looking at the rankings I gotta say it is pretty damn accurate. The sample size is 98 readers. It pretty much reflects my own preferences with the exception of the main Batman title, which I think is overrated on this list. I'd rate Nightwing, Wonder Woman and Red Hood higher but that could just be personal preference. Also found out Deathstroke has been nominated for an Eisner for writing. Priest has been killing it. I wasn't a Deathstroke fan/reader/whatever before this run. It's a slowburn and I put it off for a while after the first arc but it really picks up and it is damn good. Captain America Steve Rogers #15 is a brand new regular Dell'Otto and it's sold out and going to 2nd printing. I love the cover and got it for my collection based on the characters and the artist, not the rarity. I'm sure many did as well.

Yea that is my favorite cover of the week. I only grabbed a pair wish I grabbed more in hindsight.

It's not just a general anti-semitic hidden message. It's region specific to Indonesia and the mayor? of Jakarta who quoted some religious text and the religious extremists took offence to it. The artist apparently sympathizes with those extremists. I don't know I guess it'll be part of a new genre of collecting. First there were newsstands, then errors, then variants and now foreign political hidden message editions. Im guessing there were a ton of X-Men Gold #1s ordered so sell it off quick before people realize they dint give a about any of the stuff I mentioned above.

Finally a Tyler Kirkham thread. I've been collecting the Larfleeze run from N52 for fun, they're dollar bin books but Kirkham had some sweet covers in that run. Here's a couple.

German release of the Rebirth one-shot that came out last month (delayed release schedule) had a couple variants including a limited print run foil variant. Had to grab one for my Rebirth collection, good display piece.

This beauty just showed up at my doorstep all the way from Germany.

That was my favorite episode of the season. Finally good writing, acting, no trash people. Good stuff. Intense and emotional.

Action Comics Nightwing Two of the best series Rebirth has to offer. Maybe Outcast as well, it's been solid the past 10 or so issues. Most people dropped it becaues they got in for the spec but it's a solid read if you like the supernatural / occult stuff.

Just found out the new issue drops this week. Super psyched. Now we just need new Wytches and my ratio of Image to DC pull list books will go back up to normal!

Just shoot them an email if there is an extended delay. My set of Venom #1 wasn't shipped out right away but those guys have great customer service and a quick couple emails got it all sorted out, they made up for it in a big way as well. Great guys to work with.

Thanks for the input everyone. Decided to pass on the #106 especially at the price he wants for it. Will set my sights on the better condition keys in the collection.

Sorry it's not a good pic, snapped it quickly at the store on the way home from work last night while grabbing my pulls for the week. New OO set came in a couple weeks ago, about 20 books total in the set ranging from 106-150ish, most looked low-mid grade. maybe a fine or two in there i didn't have time to inspect them closely, gotta go back this weekend. The #106 is the book I posted about. The rest have their covers.
