  1. Yea I could... I'm putting together a low grade set of silver Flash keys. I do have other options I'm still considering them all.
  2. Hey guys I'm looking at possibly picking up a nice silver age Flash key for my collection and wondering what a chunk of missing back cover could max grade at if the front cover is in good shape. Staples are fine and cover is attached. Minimal wear on spine. Without the chunk out I'd say the book could press out to maybe a 5.0. The back cover is throwing me off. Thanks for any input.
  3. Nice that's another that has eluded me over the years
  4. Good call, I would like to get these. Anyone know what the "international" variant is? Is it ratio? Just a theme? I think there's 4 covers total for #21 and 3 for #22 correct me if I'm wrong. Regarding the Rebirth line, I'm still reading most titles and enjoying them. Finished up the JL vs SS arc and thought it was enjoyable. My favorite reads right now are Superman and Hal Jordan. Titans #7 was a great issue. Green Lanterns picked up with the Phantom Ring arc. Hopefully keeps improving. Cyborg is surprisingly decent. Wonder Woman is solid like always but I tend to collect a bunch then read them together because of that dumb alternating storylines thing. A new one that came out of nowhere, but I'm not sure if it's related to Rebirth yet or not, is the Fall and Rise of Captain Atom. Just read the 2nd issue last night. It's a time travel story so far with great writing. Really good stuff, recommend you pick it up. Afaik, a French company holds the trademark for the Smiley face so DC can't release the cover with smiley face in Europe unless they pay for licensing (which they apparently don't want to do) hence, the international cover. And yeah, I really enjoyed Titans #7, too. Really nice to see Supes and Wally bonding. Tomasi/Gleason's Superman run is my favorite read at the moment (except Multiplicity seems like a misstep) and I'm very much looking forward to seeing more of Jon and Damian's hijinks in Super Sons coming out 2/15. Thoroughly enjoyed the Robins bantering in Batman #16 (released yesterday) and Bruce Wayne eating a hamburger is just precious. I'd probably subscribe to a DC Unlimited service if they had one available but buying all of DC's releases every month is just out of the budget. I've just been borrowing/reading trades via Hoopla. Also, is it just me or has pricing for trades gone up to pretty much match # of issues x cover price? Yah it's hard to keep up with every title, I had to drop some from my pull list early, then be selective with what I order when new stuff is released. I don't think trades are a better deal. Example Deadman: Dark Mansion of Forbidden Love is a 3 part series, $5.99 cover minus your pull list discount... the trade is $16.99. Save a buck I guess if you buy them all individually at retail, not sure if it's worth waiting for the trade. Some of them vary, the bi-monthly titles in trade are a better deal.

  7. Did you just change your stance on Tec? Before you were arguing for first appearance of GCS, now that UltraMaximus is calling it a cameo and origin, like others in the thread have also said, you are okay with GCS#1 being true first appearance right?
  8. All of them? Well the early Harley covers already have value, anything heating up I'd buy to flip... So I guess yea all of them if I can find em in the wild.
  9. Good discussion on the GCS topic. I don't own any copies of any of the books mentioned herr but based on everything said and shown I know which book I'd buy if I wanted to collect their first app.
  10. Shouldn't it be the first time the term Gotham City Sirens is actually written in print on the page? Like the idea is actually there for the readers.
  11. Agreed on all points! Was looking forward to finally connecting them all!
  12. How about Venom #1 (2011) 4th printing. Some of the later printings like the 3rd and this pink 4th printing aren't even listed on Comichron, unless I missed them. 2nd printing is under 5k according to the site. I found it in a flea market vendors bin, first time I've seen one.
  13. That's because its a second print and/or reprint. It never was worth that elevated price based on website pumpers saying hey look everyone Negan's face is on the cover not just his silhouette on the 1st print. Shrugs maybe one day collectors will learn the difference between 1st and second, third etc reprints. It was attractive as a lower print run alternate cover. People collect subsequent printings based on minute differences like the logo colour / newsstand over direct, etc. As a WD collector it's worth having. As an "investment" it's a bad idea.
  14. Great episode indeed. I think people are just so used to Walking Dead being part of their Sunday routine after all these years the new episode is like reading the paper in the morning. Oh hey look good news today. Next week, oh bad news...Eventually you just stop talking to people about it... But you still check out the news every day.
  15. Thanks! I figure I'll slowly put together a cool reader set of all the Flash silver keys. Should be fun, enjoying it so far!
  16. The Riddler / Penguin storyline has stole the show for the past season. I don't give a mess about Jim or Bruce or anyone else. Bravo to the villains.
  17. Just got into Flash collecting this year. So much is way out of my price range but I pick up what I can. Here are the two low grade keys I added to my collection this year. The #110 was a surprise pick up - it was hidden amongst a bulk purchase of 25 bronze age Flash books I paid roughly two bucks a piece for. The #139 was a recent pickup off the boards and I'm looking forward to reading it!
  18. You ever seen his appearance on Scrubs? Pretty hilarious
  19. Agreed, great thread instant classic Can see this baby hittin 400 pages
  20. From Death in a red hoodie to Death in a red hoodie
