  1. How timely. So there hasn't been a sale yet of over $5 for this book, but there are 2 now copies for sale. One is wanting $29.99 and the other wanting $89.99. Its no shocker who wants $89.99 for their copy. Pretty shady.......... but then again, you know what crowd he rolls with........ Trump saved the comic collecting community by building a wall around New York City keeping the pump n dumpers contained.
  2. Blogs with the proclamation that DC/Marvel has big plans for blank character is nothing new. But yeah man, any day now Duke Thomas and Harper Row are gonna be a big deal. A BIG deal. Duke Thomas is still too fresh, it's too early to tell. He is Scott Snyder's character and All-Star Batman is featuring him prominently - but so far he is a flat character with an uninteresting back story and a looking costume. Rumour is he will have his own book after All-Star wraps up but I don't see it happening unless he breaks out in the latter half of All-Star. The Bat Family is getting bloated and we don't need another Bruce Wayne cast off. Damien Wayne on the other hand is established. He featured in the DC animated universe already as of 2014, has a famous mother / family background, has his own team book in Teen Titans in Rebirth, and is going to be part of the young Trinity next year in Super Sons. The potential for Damien to be a modern DC staple character is already very high.
  3. I think the anticipation for Super Sons is lifting this book right now, movie specs are so 2012. Honestly I wonder if the spec crowd is getting more into reading books than just looking at pop culture sites for movie announcements.
  4. The virgin covers for Venom and Ghost Rider are amazing. When I first saw the GR cover I wasnt blown away by it, but the virgin cover is literal FIRE. I will probably regret passing on that one.
  5. Yea meant the Mattina connecting. I know it's got a higher run than the Dell Otto venoms but it's two in two days.. Yea I guess I'm just comparing this three set to the price of the Venom #1 3 set I got for $49.99. Honestly I think it's gonna be a cool cover and if it wasn't for my big spending since September I would have grabbed a set.
  6. I can't speak for everyone but I'm tapped out after the past couple of months. This release came two days after another limited Dell Otto set for Venom #2 and another JL v SS limited set. Also this release is double the print run of the limited variant but at almost DOUBLE the price right out of the gate.
  7. Ready for that tinfoil hat?! Take a look at the language used to describe the covers: Venom #1: Color B&W Secret Venom #2 Color B&W Symbiote It'd be really cool if the color and B&W covers were of the host, and the third cover a separate image of the symbiote of Venom. Might be a stretch. One of the owners involved with these said on a podcast that they named it "secret" because they had no clue what type of cover the limited run would be at the time they commissioned it. Also if you look at some of the other names for other limited run books on the sales page they are theme names as well.
  8. Went to a local flea market and did some longbox diving. Only pulled one thing but I can't find much info on it other than its a rare low print run. I tried searching Comichron but it only shows the 2nd print at 4,955 copies... No info on 3rd or 4th. Anyone know the scoop?
  9. I think he's saying he's paying for some pre-screening since he's a regular customer and trusts the seller.
  10. To be honest Fear the Walking Dead was until the second half of season 2 when they got off the boat and landed in Mexico... What a turn around! The last 7 or so episodes of season 2 were on point! Great great zombie television. Comparable to some of the best of WD.
  11. Gory.. Brutal... Cable tv viewers have just witnessed the glory of Walking Dead #100 and then some..
  12. Same. I'm still on the fence but I have my alarm set for noon that day just in case. A JL & SS cover could be great with all the characters, but not sure it would suit DO's style. The description says Harley vs Wonder Woman so it probably doesn't have all the characters on the cover. Ahh that's good! Could be pretty amazing then...

  14. small town antique stores are the honey pot if you scope them out but thats what this thread is all about
  15. Always a good watch on a Monday night along with Lucifer I started watching this show after season one was almost finished, and I binged a few episodes every Saturday morning with my coffee to catch up. Once I caught up to season 2 I kept my Saturday morning tradition alive... It just feels normal watching it like this now.. Would feel weird on a Monday night haha.
  16. Barry's new lab partner is gonna become Godspeed next season, calling it now.
  17. Guess word got out it's a 150 print run. Can anyone confirm that? edit. i see the first sale linked this afternoon said "given to less than 150" not indicating print run. could be a pump an dump i suppose
  18. I'm considering selling now with the hype but at the same time a hold isn't a terrible idea either because if the rumour about Luke and her hooking up comes to fruition and it's Rey's mom it could get and even bigger boost.
  19. Comichron reported a print run on #3 of 85,156 How many of that are the 1:25 is anyone's guess but rough estimate is 3,406 Where do you come up with that estimate...? Are you aware that that's not what those numbers mean? Yea I'm very well aware, I guess I should say very rough estimate instead of rough estimate. For every store that orders the threshold amount they can order as many as they want of the incentive. For every store that orders the threshold there are probably just as many if not more stores that don't order the threshold. There's no way to get an accurate print run of the incentive other than going store to store and asking them two questions. Did you meet the threshold. If yes, how many did you order. The division of the total print by the threshold number is as speculative as you can get and obviously wrong.
