  1. Thanks for the response, I wouldn't know what I do if I ran into a collection like that. Also I'll take that Nova one of your hands if you want.
  2. Thanks for the tip Spid, I love that store, one time I bought a FF 56, from them in their just in box, for $12, and when I opened it at home found it was signed by Kirby! Was really happy about that deal. Highly recommend going over.
  3. What kind of stuff are you interested in Spid? If your in NJ, you could go to comicartcon in March. They have a huge selection with things in everyone's price range. Where is this Comicarton at in NJ. Might be a good show to go to to see what I have an interest in. I paired down my comic collection over the year from 5,000 books to 3,000 to 1,200 and just a few months ago i was laid off for 8 months and decied it was own to my favite 2-300 books. So I now have my collection of comics done and always thought about getting some original art or a comic page but having been unemployed for 8 months and then working at a $13 an hour job at quick chek for another 4 months until I found my current management job I am on a tight budget for a while .The art seemed do expensive when I read the threads on here. But I am learning its not all expensive and you can get decent stuff for under $100 etc. My interest probably would be some Venom Spiderman type stuff. The con is held in Secaucus NJ, heres the website http://comicartshowcase.com/comic-art-con.html Its has an entrance fee of $10, but its not that bad. It can be a little over whelming at first seeing all that stuff together, but you get use to it. Heres a video, the room in the video is the older one, and for the one coming up, is suppose to be much bigger.

  5. Yes it is got my first art piece fom them for a whopping $11 dollars, it was pretty funny since I saw the price written on the back for $30. I just went through and bid on about 30 items. We shall see how I do. I usually do not do that but have some extra hobby cash right now and see some real bargains, mostly art-wise. Hopefully you wont be putting that war chest up against anything I like last Clink auction you did bid me up on that Buscema Avengers page after all. But at least we both got one in that auction. HA! Those were darn fine Kang pages. each with a tremendous close-up. I thought I was lucky to get mine a bit cheaper than yours. You got Kang origin if I recall correctly, so that is sweet. Okay, now I know who you are David! Hello. Hello, Bird or should I say Sean! Nice to know the other page is also in NJ, if your going to the Artcon in March, I'll bring the page with me, and you can bring yours, it would be nice to see it in person.
  6. I guess the points game died out. You should of made them easier for me Ditch.

  9. I guess he didn't get their in the nick of time like heros usually do.
  10. Love this cover, ever since I saw it used as the cover for a book talking about comics being used for the American war effort in WW2. I also believe the original art for the title splash for this issue is being auctioned by Clink in Feb.
  11. Would you mind if I asked you what collection it was you bought in your eyes that made you a step up from the average dealer, and help put you on the map, or close to it?
  12. Good stuff, I've actually decided to try and track down the cover he did for "Fantastic Universe" in 1955, and was actually the inspiration for Algis Brudrys "Who?" novel, and even did another painting similar for the later printing of the book. And for your points! You get +5 DeadPoolJr.'s BONUS POINT Score Board Griff-5
  13. Frank Kelly Freas You are correct good sir. Would you like your prize in comic coins, or DPJr. points? Also what is your favorite cover by him? Mine is my avatar.
  14. Who ever identifies this individual will get DPJr. bonus points, do they have any value you might ask? Who knows!! I sure don't.
  15. This is what happens every time you post an emoticon
  16. They must have horrible penmanship, if their signatures are right in front of us, and we still can't get it.
  17. Ten should be easy, because you can tell what time it came, out by the price, and that its seems to be a variant cover. The signature is on it twice, also showing the other name. You could search that name, and find the ASM issue, which would tell who the other one is.
  18. Is this the thread I post in to get a higher post count?
  19. Politics make strange bedfellows. In the past week I have had to agree with Chip, and worse, I have started to actually like you. Worlds are colliding! Really? I've always liked you..... until now But no one like me! I know eh? Ignore you here and PSN I haven't actually been on for a few days now actually.
