The Ditko Spiderman panel page is off to a strong start

Batman 72 is finally in the house. Looks better in person, really happy with it. Okay, MyComicShop over does it on the packing. Triple boxed (yes,3 boxes) and bubble wrapped. Even the post office couldn't damage it! Also won two Rip Van Winkles but no Pappy

The real problem with shrink wrap on the VHS tapes is it is easy to re-shrink wrap. I am not sure how a grader can detect it.

I really like how the big corner crease color touch was removed.

I have bid in and won numerous items from Hakes. Stuff I have won includes 1. Aurora model kits, probably around 30 kits total 2. Original artwork (Charles Schulz Peanuts daily) 3. 1940 Superman puzzle I always pay via wire transfer. Shipping has been pretty fast and their packing has been amazing. I posted in the OA section of the boards about their most recent auction.

I keep watching and debating buying it but yes very expensive

Do you have this book? I don't but wonder if it provides more insight into the history of these kits. I remember them as a kid when I was in grade school. I only had the Pendulum but remember a friend bringing a couple to school.

Plenty of people inherited a business, money, etc and lost it all. If he inherited something and was able to keep it going and expand it kudos to him.

I snagged about 60 over 80 this year. Retirement, here I come General: Make some real progress into creating my sell pile for both comics and OA Map out the plan to start cleaning out the collection (what to sell where) Submit some more books to CGC before I have to take out a second on my house to cover the submission cost.

Two pieces I was watching. Hard to say whether high, about right, or low. I am going to go with about right. Would have gone on the high side had I decided to bid but I am still trying to sneak my last two Peanuts purchases in to the house.
