  1. #132 confirmed by Shawn and Walking Dead wiki http://walkingdead.wikia.com/wiki/Alpha
  2. Local house clearance sale: Loads of JLA figures - especially Alex Ross, big bag of toy soldiers, some original comic strip art from the Herald Sun newspaper (artist became a TV 'celeb' cook down here - Peter Russell-Clarke), pile of Western Pulps and comics, plus (un-pictured because they are heavy and I could be bothered to take them into a room I'm having redecorated) 25 issues of Guiness Book Of Records ($2 for all 25). A few other odds and ends - 6 x 1946 UK comics (Playbox) etc etc
  3. Really? I guess I haven't put a lot of thought into it, I just assumed (I know, dangerous to do in comicdom) that Giant-Man would be the next step, leading into both him, and The Wasp joining the Avengers? After a walking tree and talking Racoon, I didn't think a guy who can grow as well as shrink would be a problem. What is your main concern re the introduction of Giant Man from the audiences POV?
  4. So was it ever decided that Hope Van Dyne was actually going to be The Wasp, or do we think that's for Ant-Man #2, probably along with him also becoming Giant Man as well? Anyone know?
  5. I wasn't aware Prof Storm was also Black - makes even more sense now. Thanks for that
  6. Following some peoples advice - I read Ultimate FF, and indeed, the casting of RR and SS makes a lot better sense. However, with Prof Storm being involved so much, why change JS to black? Surely they leave him as white, or change Prof S, SS and JS all into Black characters. Changing one was silly. The choice of Jamie Bell still baffles me, as from page #1 of issue #1 Ben Grimm was a huge Football Player, not Billy bleeding Elliot. Victor Van Damme in that tatty cape in the promo shots makes a lot more sense now. For a non UFF reader (most of the viewing public) - then it just needs to be a GOOD movie to make a buck or two. I'm still not confident it will do so. Having now read UFF, I may give it a shot.
  7. The torrent site I use, well, lets's just say the viewer comments are less than favourable. And that's being kind.
  8. I love stores like yours Chris - very 'blokey' - I can spend hours in places like that. Nice video, thanks for sharing!
  9. Holy %$&! What, Chris, exactly are you going to do with that??
  10. When I went out I wasn't expecting to find a pile of Golden Age Australian Comics! Condition is poor to VG - I'm going to post them in the GA section to see if anyone knows much about them. They are by Gordon and Gotch (Melbourne) and Colour Comics of Sydney. According to the Australian Library Index they range from 1949 - 1957. Thought I'd share!

Did Fish wander into Bartertown and come back with some of it's inhabitants? What a heap of stinking doo-doo (except for Bruces secret find at the end). If Fish comes back - I won't watch another episode - 100% the reason separating the very good from the very poor. Oh, and Barbara vs Lee - a 3 yr old saw that coming....
  12. Far as I'm concerned, she can just stand lay there breathing. FTFY
  13. Maybe Evangelline Lilly opening a case during the closing credits to reveal 'The Wasp" costume? Sets up Antman 2 straight away.......
  14. I can't get over the fact that the world's greatest mind looks like a 15 year old. I would have preferred an older looking Reed. And that's one of my smallest concerns........
  15. Just a big thumbs up from me. As a previous poster stated, the last 2 felt a tiny bit under the standard of the first 11, but if the other 3 shows are 75% as good as this one, then I can't wait. Some really memorable scenes. 9/10
  16. I'm really sorry to hear this Hector. I also had a situation where I paid a deposit, and paypal stuck by their 13.2 rule. They refused to budge, as I had only sent a deposit, and the "seller" had proof that it was not the full purchase price. Luckily I paid by CC via Paypal, and my bank intervened. If you used CC, hopefully you could do the same? Good luck, and I hope you get your money back quickly.
