  1. Being in one of those 'International' countries I can tell you amongst my group, and my childrens groups of friends (early 20's) - there is ZERO interest in seeing this film. Supanova is on this week - no mention of Fox even having a presence in it. Tony Moore is here, plus Penguin and Michonne. Dunno if any USA dealers are coming over, as if they are, they are not in the advertising. I think Harley Yee came over a year or two back? I'd imagine the cost would cripple the American dealers, even with the huge prices key books command here.
  2. It would be nice if they threw in one character, however minor into the new show. How about that Mexican family of 4 that drove off in an episode (trapped on a bridge), or a survivor from the Govenors group that somehow survived. There are certainly individuals who were in episodes - The gang Vatos for example. Even a throwaway line - yeah, I was out East and met these guys who held out in a prison for months.... That sort of thing. As it's at the start, I hope to see at least one huge Zombie vs Police/Army/National Guard full-on episode. Kinda like we all hoped for in WWZ but didn't get. I assume it's going to screen world-wide?
  3. Easy. The buyer needs an ounce of responsibility in deciding to return any item. No seller should agree to let a buyer completely off the hook because of a NM vs NM- situation. Nah. It's a pain in the neck to have to send books back. That's enough of a cost to discourage frivolous returns. If you sell raw books, you should take returns and refund the shipping. I wouldn't buy a second time from a seller who didn't. Which is completely up to you but not probation worthy. (thumbs u Which not one single person said was probation worthy. One of these days you'll just tell me what's on your mind.
  4. -slym Actually, they do. I read a collection of Zombie Stories where Fishermen came to an arrangement with the local Zombie surfers. They fished in winter, the Zombies surfed (using their coffin lids!) in Summer. It was a really cool anthology of Zombie novels. ' Redneck Surfer Zombies' is the individual story. You can get it for Kindle.
  5. Phantom has always been one of my favorites. At a yard sale, recently, I picked up six hard back dailies covering the 30's and 40's. In the late 90's I found an original GI Joe in the box for $1.50. Thanks chaps. Chip and Buzzetta, being the absolute Gents that they are have given me the info that the 2 GI Joes are from the 1964 "Soldiers Of The World" collection, namely the British Commando and German Stormtrooper. So thanks guys! It also turns out that the English Girls comics from the 1960's are highly collectable with one selling for 30 pounds! http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Princess-Tina-and-Penelope-Magazine-3-January-1970-David-Bowie-/391020240685?pt=UK_Music_Music_Memorabilia_LE&hash=item5b0a9f5f2d&nma=true&si=VuymeKu7m%252FXs7lDC4JZMX%252FSS6UI%253D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557 Who knew?
  6. Brilliant! Did that come from an Australian collection by any chance? Its wonderful.
  7. Clearance Auction last night: 600+ Phantoms - 20 in average condition, 20% vfn, the rest NM. Some still in wrapper. Earliest issue in the 500's, most 800 - 1400. About 30 specials with repro #1 - #10 in NM condition. Pair of 1964 12" GI Joes with bag full of parts Genuine "Australian Penthouse" Vinyl folder with 12 mint issues, including the stunning early '80's Madonna nude shoot (and I mean frontally nude) 35ish Sci-Fi pulps from 1950's 20 English Girls Comics from 1960's in VFN - haven't researched them yet, but doubt there is much of a market. Lot of listing to do - I feel like Chuck must do every time he gets home!
  8. Or just shuffle one out when no-one is looking
  9. Yup - +1 But Daryl still gets it rather than Glenn, and way before Negan shows up. Maybe the Wolves tie Daryl to a tree - thereby explaining why Daryl and Aaron had an extended scene with the woman tied to a tree (who I'm assuming was disembowelled whilst alive) 90 minute thriller next week. Daryls getting tied to a tree........
  10. I believe it goes: Daredevil Jessica Jones Power Man Iron Fist w/all the above getting 13 episodes which will then lead into a Defenders mini-series focusing on the above heroes as they come together. Thankyou - much appreciated!
  11. Ian Levine! - met the guy so many times at Northern Soul do's all over the UK. Never knew at the time he was into comics. Small world.
  12. What order are the other Netflix shows in? Power Man Iron Fist Heroes for Hire Movie mash-up of all 4? Or is it something else?
  13. 388 - Sixth Gun #46 $3.99 Oni 2,674
  14. I wasn't suggesting for a second they had, it was only one reason I could think off. I'd like to know either way. The key word was "if". Which is why I wrote it. (thumbs u
  15. It can only be one of two things. Todd is dead and all deals have fallen through or: Todd is coming back, but Ken is waiting to dot the "I"s and cross the "T"s. Its totally his business, but it sure would be nice to know either way. It's not Kens fault if Image has decided not to proceed - the book got rave reviews, and sold out every issue. I don't see what else Ken could have done tbh. As said above, it was always good to see Ken on here.
  16. Great episode. Seemed a little more graphic than any shown previously? Also noticed a 4 letter word dropped last week. Maybe AMC are pushing the boundaries before next season, and potentially Negan? I'd welcome Lori flash-back scenes every week if someone would just stake friggin Gabriel in the face. Twice.
  17. My biggest concern for Preacher was, and still is, the inevitable dilution of the story that will have to take place to get it to air. If it is watered too much - will it still be Preacher? There is a certain vocal society of America that will be foaming at the mouth if this got made as originally written. That kind of pressure is hard for a TV channel to ignore. I have grave doubts this will ever air. At least not in a way that stays remotely true to the original tale.
  18. That's cool! I like the Australian Mads, but they have a lot of crossover with U.S. Mads, which isn't a bad thing, just not as alluring for collecting. Though it does look like one or two of the covers in your group might be Australian originals. Funnily enough - most of the ones to sell quickly (within 1 week) were all USA cross-overs. The 'Australian Exclusives' do move a lot slower - the people and shows are less known to outsiders of course.
  19. If they come with a T-Shirt, I'll grab one in XL thanks. (thumbs u
  20. They look more like the bloody Borg than the Fantastic Four. Won't be paying to see it.

Got a nice bunch of 100 odd Spideys from Ed - great price. Recommend!
  22. You sold a gold version for $3? I recently sold a NM gold copy for $99! $3 is about right for the regular version. They left the cover price in the gold logo box by mistake, none of the other Valiant gold books had a cover price. It is not uncommon to mistake it for the regular version. Sadly - it was the one exactly the same as the pictured copy. I bought a collection a few months back and listed all the valiants at $3 on my monthly newsletter to sellers. Oh well. I've still got an X-O #0 though... The buyer has been a good customer in the past. Best of luck to him. (thumbs u I will be going back to the original guy that I bought the books from, as he still has about 3000 books left.
  23. Sorry to pee in everyone cornflakes, but weren't most of the print runs 500,000+ with some up near 900,000? Just something I read.
