  8. Thanks Andy! Would just like to finish off these last few for the 10/1957 to 12/1979 sets. Maybe after that focus on the Curtis Marvel Mags I need to complete some of those sets. Would love to work on the 50 Atlas titles.....but that requires pretty deep pockets. Best of luck, and please keep us informed on your amazing quest!
  9. Congrats Frank - that's an incredible achievement. Kudos to you. What's your next goal mate?
  10. That's really cool - I see its a series, know anything more about them? I assume it adds to the story when you read the comic, or is it a separate tale?

  14. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/1979-Marvel-Comics-Iron-On-Fabric-Patches-The-Amazing-Spider-man-Incredible-Hulk-/321837096729?hash=item4aeefc5f19:g:GaAAAOxyA7tSXair They be these....
  15. Found these. 35 Iron-On patches from 1979 - all mint with backing paper intact, plus about 25 rings (not all pictured) from 1977. I believe the rings were in bubble-gum machines in the USA, but does anyone know where the patches came from? They look like stuff that came in cereal packets etc, but were they free in any comic issues? I have no idea. The owner said he got them from a friend in the USA. Total cost $40 usd
  16. Don't give up yet. I had a comic that I sold on its way to Canada, but for some reason ended up in London, then via Virginia (?? why!) and eventually get to its destination. Sometimes parcels arrive early, sometimes they seem to go around the whole world for no reason. It may be something as simple as being loaded on the wrong trolley and sent to Iceland. Someone there says "oops" and sends it back to its shipping hub origin point and then onto where it was meant to go. My book 'disappeared' for 4 weeks before it arrived at the buyers house. These things do happen, and aren't good for the nerves! I wish you all the best of luck, but an quietly confident it will show up eventually. Keep the faith!
  17. If I had to pick one book that could bring more than its US counterpart - it's the Horwitz print Australian Daredevil #1. (1965) Extremely hard to find now, and an epic cover. http://ausreprints.net/issue/49211/0
  18. Anthony Starr from 'Banshee' has been mentioned on imdb. He would be a great choice and was excellent in the show. Proven in fight scenes and is young enough (esp without the stubble) Would be my choice.
  19. Are the white aliens meant to be the Wraith from Stargate Atlantis, because they sure look like them! Super-psyched for this movie, the series of them has been excellent.
  20. it's Kirkham. You know what - I spell that guys name wrong all the time! I wrote Shaun last time Thanks for the correction mate.
  21. That's interesting - I always thought TWD was Carl's story, from boy to man as it were. A child growing up in a world of the Dead.
  22. I'm certain Shawn Kirkman came on here and said #132 was her 1st app - that did happen, didn't it? I'm surprised CGC have gone against the actual words of Skybound tbh and labelled #132 a cameo. Still this chicken and egg dance has been played out many many times, and will be again no doubt.
