  4. Check out what 27 & 28 are doing. Nothing much? http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_sacat=0&_nkw=dc+comics+presents+27&LH_Complete=1&rt=nc Focus on down to Bronze Age only and you'll see what he's talking about. Pulling my copies tonight!

  6. Not so great for protection from the elements. Well, he's got an extra layer of X-Force boxes on the perimeter . . .
  7. Words that are used incorrectly are not having a "comeback", it only means that fewer users are educated as to proper usage. And I might add, it's not grammar at all; it's antiquated. Period.
  8. Apparently, being the grammar police is how one gets a high post count and earns the " respect" of the community. Nope, this is how:
  9. It's a bit of a hike for me. How is that show? Worth making a trip up from CT? Any trip from CT to NH is worth the nickel . . .
  10. does it have Black Adam on the cover? Frankly, I was shocked I only had one copy.
  11. I respectfully disagree. 1. It's a DC. 2. Shazam is a second-tier title, with a third-tier (at best) super-hero. :p 3. S28 may be scarce, but only because the title was a total FAIL (after the C.C. Beck issues), and in a nose-dive at the time. :p 4. Black Adam? Your kiddin' me right? opinions vary, but other common books that feature Black Adam are doing good as well. not my book. DC Comics Presents 49 Thanks! Going to pull that one tonight! (thumbs u There indeed appears to be some interest: DC Comics Presents 49 Other recent sales.
  12. Correct, from the lots of Shazam #1's that people have been finding I would venture to say that it was one of the first books to be widely speculated on for long-term value and profit. And they are finally paying off.
  13. Personally, I think both BA/CA books have a huge upside. As to B&Bs not so much. I think they are where they are and will stay here.
  14. Although, every single book I have ever sold, now sells for more.

  16. You forgot, "the market is primed for a crash" and "it's the 90's again". Well, he does have a point . . .
  17. $31 + grading fees + shipping + time wasted = $70. +1 not worth grading. Precisely.
  18. Wow...I'm so shocked. Another absolutely overgraded POS brought to you from Divad. How the hell is that Long Bow Hunters a 9.8 with the cracked crease not only on the front but the back as well? I'd be trepid to call it a 9.0...but that's the difference between you and I, I can grade and you don't have an absolute clue. Jim Wow . . . I'm so shocked. Another lame assessment from the master of pre-screens. Dude...you are a garbage grader and misleading Ebayer, nuff said. Just write NM or something. If you actually thought it was a 9.8, submit the book and sell it for $70 bucks instead of a paltry $31 Jim Nice website, btw Just another "manufactured" collectibles guy. I also suggest that you buy a real scanner (or learn how to use the one you have).
