  1. With all due respect . . . it is spammin' Not once, but twice.
  2. As I packed it last night, I (as always) had seller's remorse. On closer inspection, the book has a serious chance at a 9.9 - not a single flaw. Then that should really be a 10.0. It may very well be.
  3. Yep, CGC is lovin' it. Who'da ever thought they'd be slabbin' a Nova #1?
  4. I'm seeing Sandman #1 creeping up, but I'm not seeing any particular movement on #8s - they still seem to be selling for the same as, say, last year. What am I missing?
  5. Yep, the BG 1 thread is probably still on the first page here. You need to get out of your bubble.
  6. Dude, if you read more and posted less, you save us all a lot of typing . . . Sorry I don't sit on the net all day looking for the next movie announcement So I can go run and buy the book before it skyrockets. I don't watch Arrow, so I had no clue he was on there and I don't keep up on new movies so I had no clue a movie was being made. If this had been a sales thread you wouldn't be b-i-t-c-h-i-n-g like you are now NTT #2 has been hot for over three years. If an old dude like me is aware of that, then you are just not doing the work.
  7. No, none. At 282, you need a 9.6 or better to slab imho. Below that, you are better selling raw.
  8. not sure but that just says the bidding ended--- here is a link to the item from the sold side if you want to see the bidding (no need for anyone else to have to search for the thing like I did)..... http://www.ebay.com/itm/MS-MARVEL-1-MARVEL-COMICS-LOT-5-FIRST-ISSUES-UNCIRCULATED-1977-VF-NEAR-MINT-/111275618913?pt=US_Comic_Books&hash=item19e88b3261 And I'll personally guarantee that not one of those books grades out at "VF/NM"
  9. Agreed. I recently re-read a few of these. Grossly under-valued title.
  10. Someone help me out here. Similar sale going on now on our sales forum. I thought ms marvel #1 was. $20 book??? Ms. Marvel #1 9s raws selling for $50-75 everywhere. She's always been hot in my book.

  12. This book is essentially a mega key in the Batman mythos. Some day I will write up a lengthy post about how important this book is. It also isn't hurting it any that is the origin of Deathstroke. Finally the black cover does make it tougher than average to find in very high grade compared to many other CA books. (Only 50 or so new 9.8 have popped up on the census since it became a hot book mid 2013.) The entire Judas Contract story arc makes it all come together. All four of those books should be on a "must read" list. Agreed
  13. It absolutely kills the value, as it's an incomplete comic that CGC markets using the Green label. Actually, IH181 is the lone exception to the rule, particularly in 8.0 and above. I sold one of my OO copies (MVS missing) CGC graded 8.5 W for $550 about 12 years ago . . . Of course my other OO copy I sold raw for $2200. It was later graded by CGC at 9.6 W. So people are blinded by the the fact that the comic is incomplete due to everyone wanting to own the first appearance of Wolverine? All snarkiness aside, in a word? Yes. Everyone wants to own one. Personally? I'd rather have an 8.0 (Q) than some ratty-azz 3.5 blue label
  14. More like: Hulk 181 has a *much* wider audience, including those who don't have a clue WTF a "Qualified" grade is, let alone a MVS. Well, the CGC 8.5 (Q) was properly labeled, and was bought by a fellow boardie, and ultimately ended up selling for more And most importantly, it was a tomato boxer . . .

  16. You know the deal. No pics no You can see the pics on feeBay next week Till then its just hear say You mean hearsay. My point was (to the poster who said they are scarce compared to #18 and 19) that not finding them in runs in the wild just means you didn't get there first.
