  1. I got Thursday at 7. Can't wait! Anyone seen this King Arthur theory?
  2. This is what I got: https://www.yoyo.com/p/hot-wheels-marvel-hulk-vs-iron-man-character-car-2-pack-with-comic-1204307?sku=QJ-5426&cookies_set=1 Have you seen those?
  3. That 161 to 186 run was pretty awful. Those issues were so cookie cutter too that it felt really boring. Worse issue for me was without a doubt the One More Day stuff, but you did say the 90s. I survived a lot of bad stuff, but I still struggle with Spidey since OMD.
  4. Completely new designs. I'm not sure if they'll be something you want or not.
  5. Did the OP see there is seemingly a new line of these? I grabbed one for my son because it came with a comic.
  6. Anyone know when early tickets go on sale?
  7. Sansa Stark is a decent actress though- not exactly what I pictured for Jean, but she can act.
  8. Finally getting around to watching this after having to leave cause it scared my son in the theater. I'm not sure I'm loving it. I've read pieces of X-Men. I don't know the story great, but this seems really different from what I remember.
  9. Anyone going to get Titanfall 2? I enjoyed the first one but it lacked enough content. Reviews seem to say it is decent in comparison, but it is not selling well.
  10. I never thought the bugs were game breaking. They were annoying at times, but the scope of the game was so incredible I didn't care. Oh and I'm still going strong in Destiny. The new update has brought some friends back and we've been having a lot of fun.
  11. I sorta think they needed too. Casuals just didn't seem to get what it was about. My wife commented a few times with the earlier trailers that she didn't get it. Now she's pumped. But yea it was a lot to story...
  12. That trailer makes me super excited. That looks incredible.
  13. Ed Harris's character explicitly stated his motivation--he wants to get to the deeper, hidden content in Westworld. Whatever that means. Could be kind of a power-gamer customer, or more likely he could have some cooperative, competitive, or adversarial relationship to Anthony Hopkins's character. But you'd think the park has to be aware of his presence there for everything to be working, so I can't imagine how he'd be there in an adversarial role. Maybe he's working with Hopkins to push the androids into becoming whatever it is Hopkins and "management" want them to become? Not really sure yet, not enough information. How could you tell the androids have real brain material in their heads? Not sure if it was his theory, but a friend suggested maybe that Ed Harris works for a competing company and he is studying Westworld. He thinks that when he dragged the girl into the barn, he was taking her apart to study her. I liked the theory.
  14. Part of me wonders if part of the appeal/success of DD1 was the novelty of it. How many people have tried to rewatch it? It feels like a slog the second time around.
  15. Same Here. I was surprised that a few posters thought 1 was better. While 1 was outstanding, I felt 2 was even superior. I loved Season 2 also but for me Kingpin was where it's at. The moment I heard D'Onofrio was playing the role, I was hooked. First time I saw him was on the film Adventures in Babysitting when I was 7. I remember that one of the kids in the film thought he was Thor because he had a hammer & the Thor helmet. I loved watching him on Law & Order: Criminal Intent also. I was happy to see him get the role of Kingpin, so I guess I just felt more of a connection to the 1st Season. Punisher & Stick were great but Elektra was ok for me. I think I enjoyed the 1st season more, even though I enjoyed the 2nd season, I was really disappointed how they handled Elektra. I loved season 2, but was also a bit disappointed with how the Elektra story ended. This will go against a lot of the opinions here, but I wasn't a huge fan of the way they handled Fisk in the first season. Did Fisk seem a little...I dunno, whiny to you? Yes. I'm hoping that is cause it was sort of his origin and when he comes back he'll be a hardened crime lord.

  17. Dialogue seems forced. Only Cage seems to be pulling it off. I really like the guy from House of Cards, but even he isn't pulling it off.
  18. He should be done. They haven't written a good Bond for him since Casino. He should do something else- I bet he will do something else. I think it's years of his career squandered and I really like him.
  19. Last year McFarlane charged $50 per sig plus you pay SS fees of about $35 - $45 depending on who the facilitator is - You're out $400 - $500 right out the gate on 5 books, and that was last year. Not making excuses but remember what the artists charge as well + the grading fee + shipping Isn't Stan over $100 a sig now? Yea I'm not a big SS guy, but from my limited experience these prices don't seem that outlandish. I think the pile on has started.
