    Of course it has fallen off of eBay's Completed page (if someone knows how to find it, let us know), but I *think* the auction price on the 9.2 is more than what D&A were asking for it as a BIN. Once I saw the auction pass $1500 -- which was pretty quick -- I knew it wasn't for me.

    Interesting that your eBay search limits to sales starting at $1,000. Conveniently leaves this guy off: http://www.ebay.com/itm/AMAZING-SPIDER-MAN-700-SS-CGC-9-8-DITKO-VARIANT-/182623017248?hash=item2a852e1920:g:LAsAAOSwCmZZQ17h ...and several others. Title listing is off on that one -- it's not SS -- but it's a 9.8 and the most recent sale and less than $800.

    My first real venture into GA. These boards are a big help. Some decent finds but the sleeves do hide the defects well. I think the Frankenstein is my favorite. Didn't know about that title until this site.

    Thanks, everyone, for the help. Below are what I picked up. Unfortunately, once I opened up a few of the comics -- including the Space Detective and a Famous Funnies 210 -- had bad water damage or other conditions that I couldn't pull the trigger on. Bought some horror, odd romance -- including at least one Baker -- and a replacement Frazetta.
