It's not modern but during a live Facebook auction last night I saw a Dazzler #1 immediately sell for $15 with at least 3 other people in line behind the buyer. The condition was: "this one looks real nice." And that is $15 before shipping costs.

I found this today; apart from a good read any value?

Not as nice as the earlier one, but a nice auction win.

It's still sealed; definite 9.8.

Stupid sleeping; missed some good stuff, including Coles.

Is it just me (and my bad hearing) or does the theme song say something about "8 parts" of the series but there are only 4? Nevertheless, blasted through all 4 while sick and it was great. In a very collaborative field (like comics), everyone wants to singularly take credit for the big ideas.

It's (Voodoo #8) a little tanned but it's mine. I started buying GA the middle of this year and it's incredibly addicting. Compared to other eras the hunt is so much harder it makes the wins so much better. (The downside to this being determining a price point; but, "When you see it, buy it" usually wins out.)

To date it's the most I've spent on a raw book; time will tell if the reward was worth the risk. I flipped through it a couple times and everything is attached and all pages accounted for. Some general wear/spine creases and dimples on the back that will be taken care of. While not garnering as much attention as the 247, the Weird Science has great colors I normally don't see when finding GA in my price range. I'm in the Chicago suburbs, not NYC, but it kind of was just like picking them off a wall (actually out of a couple different boxes) at a store out here that was having a sale. These books weren't necessarily included in the sale, but I was given a discount for multiple/big purchases. Based on previous visits to this store I was not expecting to find these; right place right time.

It was a good day.

Well color me surprised; time to upgrade my copy to a mylar.

I was a bit (pleasantly) surprised at the final price of the DS #20 -- $411.

There were a couple of Godzilla Guys in the same vicinity at this show -- and both named John! Did you buy from the tall guy with glasses or the bald guy?

Awesome collection. Difficult to find in any grade, let alone HG examples like this.
