  1. http://www.milehighcomics.com/cgi-bin/backissue.cgi?action=direct&issue=99821728599 11 MILE HIGH NM - $40
  2. Where you, man?! This was weeks ago; someone got away with highway robbery! Wonder if a return case was quickly opened.
  3. A buyer to be aware of: liam69_7 Purchased a Marvel Must Haves: NYX 1-3 for $25 + $4 shipping. Sent me an message ~ 3 days later alerting me to the fact that this is a reprint. (duh) He said he did not know it was a reprint, did not open the package, and was sending back for a refund. He opened an eBay return and I accepted. The package was re-routed along the way to my address and he constantly sent me messages regarding its status. It finally arrived yesterday -- along with 3 messages from him. I went through the eBay return process and gave him his $25 back. He just now sent me an email to my personal account (not sure how he got that) demanding he also receive his $4 back for shipping from the original purchase. I told him I went through eBay and that is the refund given; take it up with eBay if he wants his $4, but know that he paid $4 for shipping and the item arrived at his house, not much to argue about there.
  4. Copied from the Events section. What I picked up this weekend at a local show I did. 99% sure the Crows are 1st prints; I know it's easy to tell on these, but reserving that 1% because the prices were so low. (Actually, most of it was cheap but I love Copper Indies) ABD = Always Be Digging
  5. Pickups from the show: Also purchased a 30 Days of Night 1st print set from Hector.
  6. It was a very good day for buying -- with some help and elbow grease. Not too bad on the selling side; I think I managed to move a shortbox of $10+ stuff. Some more pics/info later; just got home from a long day. But a huge thanks to @jsilverjanet for lending me a table and his cart. I did notice more during this show all of the separate negotiations and wheeling-and-dealing Hector does. A man with many irons in the fire.
  7. I thought there was a topic on this, but I couldn't find it using the Search. Anyway.... Short notice, but a comic show this Saturday (2/11; tomorrow!) in Milwaukee-ish, Wisconsin. What: Milwaukee MightyCon Where: Wisconsin State Fairgrounds - Products Pavillion - 640 S. 84th St., West Allis, WI When: Saturday, February 11th from 10 AM - 4:30 PM Cost: General Admission $5; Kids Under 12 are FREE @jsilverjanet and myself will be set up there. I'm the tall one.
  8. I apparently had 2 email addresses on my account and was logged in as "manetteska1" for a bit. Not sure how you were able to skip 1-26 and ended on 27. Must be your seniority.
  9. Now to really blow our minds, tell us they were priced at $10 each...
  10. I think I found an X-Men 25 blue hologram but not sure.
  11. Don't tell FBS but I found another one. Was sitting on the counter of my LCS with an "Out of Stock" sticker on top. I asked if it was for sale, worker said "Yes, it's just not in stock on our website." No clue where it came from, but it's in my hoard now.
  12. Quick vent. A great day on both sides with eBay users. 1. Buyer wants to return a Marvel Must Haves NYX 1-3 because he didn't know it was a reprint until it arrived in his hands. I guess my listing showing a different title, front cover, back cover, containing 3 issues instead of one, and a $20 price point didn't tip him off previously. 2. Purchased a $60 comic with free shipping. Comic arrived in a manila envelope, sandwiched between two flimsy Priority Mail cardboard pieces -- but the comics not even taped to the cardboard. Just free floating, basically having no effect as it traveled halfway across the country. 3. Purchased a $27 lot of comics with $8 shipping. Came double-boxed Priority but 2 of the 7 comics inside were completely loose -- not even a bag and board -- and suffered for it.
  13. This is definitely one of those covers that has a line down the middle - you either love it or hate it. Nice pickup on that variant of the variant Most clearly love it. For good reason. -J. "Most"? Most of what? Nothing to back this up.
  14. I'm in the same boat but may be driving over with my wife. Chicago to Cleveland is just far enough for me to have to make it a 3 day trip to make it worthwhile. Plenty to do in Chicago for 3 days! And though some dislike the location as compared to WW, definitely more to do outside of the show downtown compared to Rosemont.
  15. There were quite a few of the later series; don't recall if it was full or not.
