  1. So many things wrong with this comment. No wonder we get a bad rap.
  2. No. It's a woman playing a fictional man's role and we can't have that.
  3. Hahaha! Years ago I used to pick up early DHP and Concrete back issues from the 50-cent bin, knowing they would be worth something someday and it looks like my ship just rolled in. Now I just Mindwalk and Trekker to take off. They're still worth diddly until you sell them.
  4. A lot of talk about the census; do the "casual" CGC buyers check the census? Would they check it often enough to notice a rise -- especially if the grades are spread out? I know I don't check the census before purchasing, just past sales and what is currently available at what price. This is outside of a Star Wars fan who just wants a copy.
  5. With my stack of ANMPO and already-sold copy of CM #17 2nd print, I'm all for pumping the former. But with all of the label notations -- and the odd cameo of the character (CM #14 -- I guess) -- it's too confusing to the casual buyer.' They are all in play, but some moreso than others.
  6. I couldn't make Heroes Con, but my LCS's summer sale was pretty good. (Avengers #80 c/o bomber bob  )
  7. I'd block him for confusing the hell out of me with whatever this is supposed to be. A comic songs?
  8. What if it is one book, just posted 20 times in a row?
  9. In my limited searching and area, I have only found one ANMPO in the wild. Not sure if that's because the others were scooped up, or the others were put in $0.50 bins, or trashed, or something else. I have found tons of copies of Captain Marvel #17; two or so of #14; and three Avenging Spider-Man #9 (which is still surprisingly selling for good coin).
  10. What you got his first appearance? Want to show it to the class?
  11. Uh oh..... http://boards.collectors-society.com/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=8660028#Post8660028
  12. Studios do tracking on movies, that is pretty reliable, and everything I have heard over the past six months tracks it much higher than that. I think $700-$750 is around where it will land, with potential upside if it reviews well, to land even higher. the 'stock market' was way off to the downside on GOTG and the upside on Avengers 2, so it's not an exact science by any stretch It's getting to be where people can't even predict the future accurately anymore. Sheesh.
  13. Anyone care to spoiler tag the Star Wars #6 reveal? Or JL #41?
  14. Anyone have a copy to check the indica?
  15. I don`t think it`s just comic book movies, but big blockbuster movies as well. I will be curious to see how Jurassic World(tracking surprisingly well) Terminator:Genisys Fantastic Four Mission:Impossible - Rogue Nation The Man From U.N.C.L.E. London Has Fallen perform at the domestic box office. I see stuff like Minions and TED 2 surprising instead. My Jurassic World(tracking surprisingly well) -- very good Terminator:Genisys -- Fantastic Four -- good Mission:Impossible - Rogue Nation -- very good The Man From U.N.C.L.E. -- not good London Has Fallen -- wha?
  16. Uf! That's a lot of dough to plunk down on a 4th print. Hope the seller allowed the winner to back away if he/she didn't know.
  17. Yes, it should explicitly say "Second Printing" or "Third Printing." Thanks for the info, again.
  18. That wouldn't surprise me. And don't forget to put WOW! in your listing title. I know I can't recognize a good thing unless prodded with a WOW! The comic only had an initial print run of roughly 24k, so if it is indeed a hit, may see some upswing on this title. But what if EVERY listing has "WOW!" in it!? Maybe the really really good ones can say "DOUBLE-WOW!" W@W!
