  1. New Quasar -- Captain Marvel #16 from 2004. I have some CA 217's as well, but those have gone back down.
  2. Mantis saw a spike when everyone thought it was her in Avengers 2 in the cave -- the scene that was cut and wasn't her anyway -- and then dropped drastically in price. Moondragon's issues really haven't seen much action; maybe on IM 54, but more because graded copies don't come up for sale often. And the new Quasar's first appearance can still be had for $1-$2.
  3. Ha...wrong. Pom Klementieff will either be Mantis or Moondragon. Before they actually announce it, let's have all of those issues go up!
  4. May I have a PM of that post? I need tips for my account.
  5. As a seller, I would feel obligated to make sure the buyer is taken care of. unless specifically otherwise stated AHEAD of time. Yes the default is the seller's responsibility, however, I have seen some sellers qualify that in the case of media mail, which I understand can be opened by the PO. Is "low shipping cost" here referring to media mail? In my case "low shipping cost" equals Media Mail (which I was not told about), a bubble mailer, and a single piece of cut-up USPS Priority box for cardboard. I was told about the bubble mailer, but "thick" cardboard was noted in the listing; if I can bend w/o any pressure, it's not thick cardboard. Overall not a high-dollar transaction; I just don't feel like getting blamed for damaged comics when I hadn't even touched them b/c I didn't spend more to "upgrade" to a box. Yep, it's on the seller unless the buyer made some demand to send it media mail and explicitly agreed to accept the responsibility for any damage because of that choice. In your case they've got to pack it well enough to make it to the destination and use the proper method of shipping. Any update? He might be too busy picking out raw 9.9's and 10's to submit. That ain't me. I'm the one who gets $100 when CAK actually submits his 9.9 comics and they come back less than expected. i.e. a free $100. As to my topic, it was worked out for both of us. Gave the seller some pointers and links; we'll see how it goes next time.
  6. $11 for damaged / reader copies? I don't get it. However the notes say the comic is NM.
  7. I've been to three Wrestlemanias and a goat contest, and this is the stupidest thing I've ever seen. A goat "contest"? I want to know, but I also don't want to know.

  9. Quick question/scenario: I purchased books from the forum. In transit the package is busted up by the USPS. Who is responsible for the books as they make their way from seller to buyer? Who assumes the "risk" with a low shipping cost? The buyer or the seller?
  10. I know everyone hates more rules, but is it possible to add one re: Media Mail? Either MM is not allowed at all, or, if it is to be used, it must be explicitly stated in the seller's shipping policy.
  11. Still speculation, but a "new" story... http://news.yahoo.com/marvel-rumoured-to-be-working-on-moon-knight-141825814.html
  12. Be interesting to see if you get close to that asking price. What asking price? I believe he believes this is you.
  13. It was in a thread started for X-Men #129; Harvey posted in it calling out S/F, I was intrigued, and S/F (Symbi) admitted he was caught again. I can't find my own post, so seems it has been completely expunged.
  14. No idea where to put this, but it was interesting to me. Watching TEEN WOLF today (duh) and noticed Joseph Loeb III as a co-writer. Looked it up on IMDb to confirm, and yes, that's Jeph Loeb. Had no clue. Turns out he also co-wrote COMMANDO.
  15. Agreed. August was great but early September was poo. Picked up over the weekend, though.
  16. But wouldn't this categorize as 'rare'? Exactly! Please send me all your monies. I knew it was a horrible copy, but it's my only copy so for $25 I decided to see what it would get. I ball-parked 3.0; guess there was something inside I missed. At least it's blue.
  17. Worked out a deal on multiple comics; Mike paid quickly w/o any issues.
