  1. Awesome book, Pov! Did you guys know Gene Colan recently did work on Rob Zombie's Spookshow comic?
  2. I can see how that happened. My 3's often look like 8's.
  3. Thanks for the info Adam! If anyone wants to vote for Marvel or Timely as seperate entities from the Atlas imprint, please feel free to do so in a post. I don't think I can modify the poll once it has started....
  4. Is this weird or what... Invasion of the Body Snatchers, The Last Man on Earth, and House of Wax were all old horror flicks. Dig these story titles.... coincidence?
  5. The OSG I was looking at did not list those under the Timely imprint. Also, neither did the TTTTT index. I do not have any copies of Amazing Mysteries to double check. Sorry if this is really an oversight. Anyone have any scans for evidence? That would be great! If anyone wants to vote Timely, I guess they'll have to settle for the Atlas imprint or just say so in a post.
  6. It's sure to go up in value now! BTW - I do have an extra copy if anyone would like to make a trade offer.
  7. You have a great sense of humor, Adam. Ever consider hanging out with the Crypt Keeper?
  8. ahhhhh, AiT #13 DOES have quite a nice cover, despite the lack of the "13th Floor" gimmick. Maybe the editors knew what they were up to after all.... Did I mention this was a Bill Everett?
  9. Was that pun intended, Adam?! Great book! Has eluded me for years now!
  10. Wouldn't it have been a nicer touch if Atlas had saved this "13th Floor!" cover for issue 13 instead? Typical 50's editing.....
  11. ...and now another another golden moldie from my vault (aka Keith's Crypt)...
  12. You are on to me and my plot, Pov! I want you all to get apoplexy by limiting your choices to three publishers so I can come scoop your collections from your grieving estates...... bwahahahaha!!!!
  13. Actually, I don't mind the two distinct threads. I kinda like it. I don't think it's a big deal, really. Just MHO. There are sundry other topics that have had more than one thread for them, so why not pre-code horror?
  14. Sorry West! Guess Atlas is as close as you'll get! Honestly, I couldn't think of any Timely straight pre-code horror books. Maybe Cap #75 ??
