Yeah, we can look forward to him doing THIS again. Some of us sure like to have a reason, made-up will do, to pile on criticism. Mr. Christopher, thanks for your efforts, and if you need to cut some orders, get some names off of the last 2 or 3 pages. Thanks!

But no graded books have shipped it doesn't look like- I expected a delay on those.

My LCS ordered about 6, which surprised me a little.

I got one CGC 9.8 and one CBCS 9.8 on the way, but no SS. I just don't like great covers being scribbled on!

And if you ordered a graded one, I would think we are a month away!

What I have read about him, he sounds like a hard working guy. Good for him that he gets to take advantage of a hot item. Many of them are not, or he watches all of us make the money on his work, while he gets paid whatever the going rate is for his job from Marvel. I bought one from him, graded by the other guys, and one from C2E2 that will be graded CGC. I hope he made big money and can take a week off with his family!

Should matter a lot. Consistency and accuracy are the most important things with multiple grading companies, and something like '2nd print' isn't an opinion- it either is or it is not. Years from now, it won't be so fresh in everyone's mind like it is now, so there may be some genuine confusion as to whether all the NYCC books were 2nd, or just some of them.

Tubby likes many volumes. Most of us do not.

I am sure the deadline for Previews and Advance is early- they may not have made or changed their decision in time to undo it. He has been straight with us- let's wait and see what the explanation is.

They considered that, and may have gone with it, despite some strong opinions from us about NOT doing it. I thought the creative team had decided against it, and maybe they did but it was already in the works for Previews and Advance. Or, maybe they did what they initially wanted, which is their right of course.

On a book like this that Stan had nothing to do with, the all black cover that looks better without a sloppy signature, and the fact that Stan has more signatures floating around than any other 10 comic book personalities combined, makes me think that the one's that will command a premium will be the untouched ones.....

I actually don't know if mine was first, but it had to be close- Beachbum got it for me at the show, then fast tracked it and nearly all the others that same weekend. That was when it was still mostly unknown, because he was unfamiliar with the title when I asked him about getting them for me. I had another facilitator getting me some too, but I have never seen those yet. Hopefully he will still come through. He did not get an NYCC though.

I think mine was the first one graded so I should be first!

We are not nearly as big or influential as we think we are- which applies to nearly everything I guess!

Getting close to a month since I said this- getting close to $700 too!
