Don't worry - I've got you covered on both covers for #6. (thumbs u I don't even wonder about you having me covered! I know you do! Why in the world anyone would go to the trouble of searching for covers and then submitting them on their own when you are just standing there saying 'Psssstttt- Hey Buddy! I can do that for you, you know...' is beyond me.

- And I've stated it before and I want to reiterate it especially to those of you that have made a significant investment in Enormous. Hold on to your books. I've seen things... Don't you just love it when he says that, with a giggle! Well, I am imagining the giggle of course. I gots 'em. I'm holding on to them. My LCS got 4 #6's today. Still not enough in my opinion,, but at least more than the 2 he was getting.

LCS purchase. Not really a LL fan, but how can you pass up these up in good condition??

Could not pass these up! And based on the date stamp on the back, they were sold new at the same place.

I pulled mine out of one of my many boxes in Jan 2013 (which was once part of a comic book bed, to the endless delight of some of you) after buying it new from my LCS. I sent it in, and got a 9.8. I can't be the only guy that still had one in a box that was a 9.8. There could be 50 more waiting to be sent in. SOOOOOOO, sell it quick for that kind of money!

You know, the posts on the OTHER guys forum seem to be having the same turn around times.....so maybe we are not too bad- it just takes as long as it takes!

Just got these today, very pleased with the condition!

Slide a single backing board in the ends of those boxes so you don't get an oval burned into them from the light hitting the books!

So, after 8 months, fading badly, with sunlight exposure (weather permitting) all day every day since May 2014. I think I will keep it going to see how long before the color is all gone.

The Registry set is up!

I thought that too, originally predicting many 9.9's or even a 10 or two, but that has not happened. Since we can assume the only one's being graded right now are being sent in by the pros, there have been more >9.8's than I would have expected.

Unfortunately, you can only count one in the registry!

I'll be anxious to see which one of us gets top spot when the registry for Enormous is up!

I have the phantom variants, but I don't think they should be rated over the standard #1. While interesting, they are a result of an exciting book, not the cause of it. Many of us like reprints, but that is how I look at them- they are reprints, not genuine first prints, and should not be the most sought after. The Phantom is NOT a reprint. It is a first printing. Larry's back! I like what you do for the hobby, I just don't especially like manufactured collectibles. Some do. If it's a book I want all variations of, I get the phantoms too. And both your phantoms and your colorfulness is good for the hobby!
