  1. Yes, but I couldn't get them to post side by side!
  2. Agree its why I passed on the book entirely. I may regret it later, but that oversize just is a big turn off no way to store well. I don't know.... treasury bag and board, spine side down in a magazine size box with all my other treasury books. There seems to be a new one every month or two, so someone besides me buys them. Eventually CGC will slab them, and I will be ready. And I am sure the print runs on all the modern treasury books is small!
  3. Was that me? Bleeding Cool Rich! Welcome to the boards! And I see what you mean- that article I pointed to was NOT written by you- so I take it all back! You are more spot on than I gave you credit for! But seriously, I always order what you say to get on Bleeding Cool, and am never disappointed.
  4. Was that me? Bleeding Cool Rich! Welcome to the boards!
  5. That was probably me, I submitted last year at Baltimore Comic Con for onsite grading, wanted to be first to Ebay. There were a couple I missed, but most of the 9.8s I still have, and CGC just shipped me more last week. I could see one of you big guys submitting a big stack and not going through each one closely. That makes sense. Us 4 at a time guys pour over them multiple times.
  6. Another extremely popular variant, Enormous #1, which was limited to 250 copies, also sold out quickly. No, he is right, this is from Bleeding Cools site. http://www.bleedingcool.com/2014/10/11/nycc-the-hard-to-get-variants-for-wytches-enormous-and-spread/ With that said, good ole Rich is often not spot on....
  7. As an aside, where did the "106" count come from? I've seen references (like in Bleeding Cool and others) ranging from 250 to 500 for this issue. Is there a definitive source for this number? Really! I read everything I can and have never seen anything BUT 106 for the NYCC issue.
  8. I see there is an Enormous 1A graded at 8.0. Curious as to why someone would send that in. Could they truly have thought it was better than that? Did they just miss that much damage? Was it any of us?
  9. The black cover makes the case look awful on the scan, but ok in hand.
  10. I don't own a single copy of any Enormous book. I don't care what book sells for more. I was just trying to inject some sense and reality into some of the comments being made here. Huh, well, thanks for your help!
  11. Threw out an offer and was shut down quick, not even a counter offer. Sent an email about the bottom corners... He said it was a bad camera angle and would send me better pictures tomorrow... What the Wait a second. What's going on here? This is the SAME book that I SUPPOSEDLY was in communication with this seller yesterday and today about and had a price offered to me from him by email, and I just asked him last night for another pic of the corner and he emails me this morning that he'd send me a better picture tonight..... and now it's up on Ebay? ? Was in talks with this party as well. He sent me pictures of the book but not of the back spine. Bad business and dishonest. Glad I saw this here. If someone's wanting any copy and doesn't care about the grade then this isn't a bad book to get you in the group but I'm out. Before we break out the pitchforks THIS time, be aware I think we all know this guy and have done business with him, and he's a boardie. Maybe he is just busy with work and putting kids to bed and normal life things......
  12. Keep numbers going up- sick of different volumes and constant renumbering!
  13. CHU #6 black and white panel variant, 250 CHU #6 blank variant, 100 Bill I can tell you with some inside knowledge that they Black and White was not a print run of 250. There were 100 copies for sale. There are 14 left on ebay from the original seller. Thanks! I had made a note of 250/100 for some reason- even better for me!
  14. CHU #6 black and white panel variant, 250 CHU #6 blank variant, 100
  15. I DO like this explanation of what constitutes a 1st and subsequent printings though!
  16. Congrats on the pick up (thumbs u 103- mine is not going anywhere!
  17. I might be wrong but I don't think Bill is looking to move any of his collection especially a nycc #1. He's been one of the main Enormous collectors on these boards for the past six months. Not me boys! My motto is 'Never sell'! And the box I posted is all my graded ones- I have about 50 ungraded, but that guy on Ebay- it ain't me babe.
  18. Treasury size bags and boards are perfect for all the treasury editions.
  19. Can't blame them! If I was a seller, I would be charging more this week than last week too!
  20. They are slightly smaller than the actual cover will be, and of course only a single sheet of stiff cover-like material. They COULD be graded, but I doubt they will- more like a baseball card to grade maybe.
  21. We order wall paintings from a place called Wayfair occasionally, and they ship them FedEx. About every other one is damaged, however.
