Fairly high res scans with close up view of the art are publicly available on the HA website. What difference would it make if HA distributed scans?

...and just what does DC still own...image wise?

I'd check with Heritage first though before using them...just in case...

I never said that it was worth "nothing". It's worth something and what I've said is that I don't think that it's worth as much as some others feel. Putting it up for auction will determine its current market value.

Help me out with the math - you say that in '41, superhero books had a 54% share of the market and that in June of that year 42 of 57 were superhero based - that's almost 74%. Some of those 15 (57 - 42 = 15) books were undoubtably not kids books (e.g. crime; romance) I'd want to know year end totals all years - # of titles - superhero vs kids books AND overall sales number for the same.

Bugs appeared in drag MANY times in the cartoons so seeing him as such on a comic book cover - not shocking.

Agree completely. If one asks oneself - what would they bring individually if not bound and in the same condition? Would someone pay $100 a book?

I don't think that them being bound adds any value whatsoever. They appear to be just random issues bound together.

The Turok "flying saucer" cover is out there...

And paying to ship it from India which won't be cheap.

There's no way that this will fetch anywhere near $6 - $10K - these books appear to be a random lot of Batman comics bound together. Neither the comics or the book are in very good shape. The comics have multiple defects not to mention whether or not they are all complete. I think that even Point Five's estimate is high. If they break a grand I'd be shocked.
