  1. Every time I met Joe, he greeted me with a smile and loved talking art and books. What a gentle soul- we have lost a great one. I still tell everyone that he told me I was the best looking Boy Wonder he’s seen besides Burt Ward. He’s done many charity events and gave back to our community because that’s who he was. I’m fortunate enough to have gotten a Robin sketch from him. @Jeffery Harnett Thank you for your support of Joe and the fans. I know you were Joe’s biggest fan! God bless all. Our prayers are with you and the family.
  2. I’ll take it. This is the first time I’ve seen this book on the boards! What a killer! Freddy sliced his own eye. Love it.
  3. There are people on here who do both- buy on here/FB/IG and sell on eBay and vice-versa. I think we are all used to to it by now and everybody is trying to get a deal. Our hobby gets pricey. If you are patient and find the deals, that’s a beautiful thing. My biggest issue with this would be hyping up your post/sale (I’ve seen a few here) stating you’re giving the buyer the greatest deal around and that the book is “ready to take off” or explode. Meanwhile your potential sellers can do a quick eBay search and find you just bought it 2-3 weeks ago for much cheaper and see a downward trend on GPA. That being said, I would say buy and sell as you please, but leave the hype train out if it’s a public, recent purchase. I of course understand hype and FOMO sell books, so sellers are going to do as they please. As @thehumantorch said, honesty is very important.
  4. This is great news! Let’s hope these guys get caught and you get some/all the books back! The Island is small so hopefully they’ll mess up and sell to the wrong person.
  5. Now that’s a classy thread ladies and gents! Great stuff all around. There were so many killers in this thread, but that Weird Fantasy 15- what a cool book!!
  6. I’m on Long Island, and once found a collection with 17 copies of NTT2, 10 sets of She-Hulk 1-12, and multiples of many random issues. Nothing else spectacular. It was definitely fun spreading those copies on a table. I agree with most and would not advertise it to the world. He should’ve held back wanting attention, but in our society driven by “likes,” he just couldn’t resist. Again, the deal isn’t even complete. Crazy.
  7. Wowza!!!! The room is gearing up to be legendary! Actually, it already is. Congrats. To display the Turtle Greatness is a beautiful thing. I forgot you had so many killer pieces. That’s a lot of beautiful covers- Oh my!!! Kirby too
  8. Like we are doing now. Just writing something in this thread bumps it to the top of the line.
  9. This is a great place to buy, sell, and meet some great people. Regarding bumping a thread, you are allowed to bump it once a day. You could post bump, adjust the price, or add another book. You could as as many books as you want to this single thread. You could also start a thread in Golden/Silver/Bronze if you have books from those eras.
  10. Hey, great book. It’s one of my favorite Usagi covers. One more thing. If you have books listed here, you can’t list them elsewhere. They have to be exclusive to the boards.
  11. I’m ready to have “More Fun” More Fun 55- 1st Dr. Fate It’s a classic. This book just broke 51 on the census! I’m proud to own it!
  12. As a TTA 44 lover, this is the nicest 4.5 I’ve seen. Those blues will surely bring a smile to your face. Congrats to both!
  13. All is well over here too, which is a blessing. Yeah, that Raph is one of my favorites. I still have that Dooney Ray Fillet, which always brings a smile!
  14. Phenomenal sketches!!! I hope you’ve been well! My eyes are perky looking at these
  15. Nice books man! That’s IF14 is calling me- perfect wrap, centering, and paper. Must Resist!
