  1. The Schulze pieces that he's attempting to pass off are obviously fakes as well. Signature on all three look different. They sure do come up with some creative descriptions for why their forgeries aren't quite right: http://www.ebay.com/itm/1988-ORIG-PEANUTS-SCHULZ-SNOOPY-COMIC-STRIP-HAND-DRAWN-SIGNEDED-SCHULZ-/302411229692?hash=item46691d29fc:g:uksAAOSwcYxZjJD8
  2. Nothing to do with this weeks episode, but still fun if you haven't seen it yet.
  3. Have a feeling that he knows someone that may be coming into a position of authority that could release him from his vows to the Night's Watch (if the Night's Watch even exists once this is all said and done.)
  4. No, Martin has been working on the Winds of Winter for several years now with several missed deadlines. As for Tyrion, it's been hinted at in the book, but not really as much in the tv series that his father may not have actually been a Lannister: https://winteriscoming.net/2016/05/06/game-of-thrones-theorycrafting-is-tyrion-lannister-actually-a-targaryen/
  5. My LCS uses this program: https://www.bellycard.com You get a little card that you scan in a the register each visit that allows you to earn points. Accrue enough points and you get a free Pop keychain, discount on certain books, etc.
  6. Really enjoyed this episode. Brought up several thoughts: Sam, where are your manners? You never interrupt a woman when she's inadvertently trying to tell you that your illegitimately born best friend isn't illegitimately born at all and is the rightful heir of the 7 Kingdoms! So Arya can kill the entire House of Frey, but can't manage to sneak around a castle she's known since birth without Littlefinger catching on that he's being followed? Not buying this one. Jon and Drogon! Jon and the Avengers Westeros Coast! Where the holy hell is Ghost!?!
  7. The complete lack of uniformity in the characters size and the unsure lines would lead me to believe they were traced right away.
  8. I'd say Gene's argument here is pretty "Unimprovable". I had to go and do a search to see what was on the FF 77 cover, but immediately knew UXM 266. While everyone has their artist preferences, from a historic standpoint, I'd be hard pressed to come up with a more desired character introduction from that era of Marvel Comics. Couldn't you make the same argument for the FF? Due to the contract with Fox, Marvel has pretty much banished them to the Negative Zone. While Gambit was mishandled, at least he has currently been reintroduced into the X-Men fold and is featured in one of their main titles.
  9. In this case, I wouldn't think so. Someone employed by Heritage my have a more intimate knowledge of the auction itself, when the best time to place a bid within their system may be, etc than the average bidding public.
  10. Makes perfect sense. If you're with Chris and Ron, I imagine it would look like this:
  11. Art Adams: One of my "Iron" Throne theme pieces http://www.comicartfans.com/galleryroom.asp?gsub=148043 Marc Silvestri: Outback X-Men team shot
  12. See, here it was, I always figured you rolled through a convention like this:
  13. Not necessarily a prelim. More than likely the inking was done over blue line due to deadlines. Both pieces could be considered published art.
  14. I hope my con report was half as thorough and entertaining as yours, Alex!
  15. I think we forgot to factor the "Con" effect into the equation for the 2nd round.
