  1. I'm thinking it may go between $10,000 and $12,500 based solely on the fact that it's the first appearance of X-23. Trying to compare this first appearance with Sinister or Venom is pure folly. Silvestri and McFarlane's built in audiences already add to the prices of those pieces before they even hit the market. They are established artists, known for stand-out runs on those individual series. I've know Middleton's work since he did Meridian over at CrossGen, but it's not something I would clamor for after seeing his process. His printed cover work is often beautiful, but seeing his initial art, it's just aided too much by digital enhancement.
  2. Agreed. Strong episode. Anyone else catch the Walking Dead reference on Supernatural this past week? http://www.digitalspy.com/tv/supernatural/news/a823145/walking-dead-supernatural-crossover-lucille-negan/
  3. Here's a page on CAF from the Web Warriors comic: http://www.comicartfans.com/GalleryPiece.asp?Piece=1379635&GSub=180463
  4. Your budget will get you a cover from Frank's recent run on Harley Quinn: Frank Cho at Big Wow Art You can get Jay Anacleto's work from his rep, Kirk Dilbeck, on CAF: Three Wishes presents Jay Anacleto
  5. Agreed. I just came off a marathon of all 4 films this weekend (flu) and that would be my point as well, I do't think "Kingdom" was any worse than "Temple" as far as Indian Jones films go.
  6. You're right, he and Ford had no choice. It was do it the way Lucas wanted or let it die.
  7. As an ode to those Atomic Age B-Movies, "Kingdom" does work, so what do you think makes it an inferior Indiana Jones film? Do you think it was just too jarring a change from the pulp adventures that the others were based on for a majority of viewers to accept?
  8. Spielberg's quote to Empire magazine back in 2011 sums up what happened perfectly. He chose making his best friend, but inferior filmmaker, happy. Spielberg should never, ever defer to Lucas. “I sympathise with people who didn’t like the MacGuffin because I never liked the MacGuffin… George and I had big arguments about the MacGuffin. I didn’t want these things to be either aliens or inter-dimensional beings. But I am loyal to my best friend. When he writes a story he believes in – even if I don’t believe in it – I’m going to shoot the movie the way George envisaged it.”
  9. I really enjoyed Rick & Michonne's Zombie Carnival Adventure Show, but let's face it, if the zombie apocalypse hadn't come along, TV Rosita would be that crazy ex-girlfriend that drives by your house at night to see if your car is still in the driveway. She's going through an awful lot for a guy that dumped her.
  10. There are two Infinity Gauntlets in the Marvel Cinematic Universe
  11. This entire season has raised the bar. I was sorry to see RR/Ghostrider leave, but the LMD storyline has been fantastic.
  12. And now Medusa! She was great on USA's Graceland! Serinda Swan cast as Medusa
  13. Black Bolt has been cast! (For the TV Show) http://www.gamespot.com/articles/marvels-the-inhuman-tv-show-casts-black-bolt/1100-6448310/
  14. What about the massive zit on his nose?
  15. Nope. There were adds on the old boards, too. Found those more intrusive than these.
  16. Agreed. I can only imagine that the writers believe they've built Negan and the Saviors up so much that it would be implausible that Alexandria, the Hilltop and the Kingdom alone could beat them. I still enjoy the show, but the writers are taking too many liberties that lead to plot holes and confusion. For instance, when the Saviors first show up to collect all of Alexandria's weapons: since the writers had Rick and his crew knock off that initial Savior outpost, they had so many weapons there that they could have easily stood up on the wall and taken out Negan and everyone with him. Regarding the trash people, they watched the person on the boat for how long and never grabbed him or his supplies, but one of them was willing to scale Alexandria's wall, risk encountering a whole town and kidnap Gabriel to get them? And I'm not sure why they were ready to jump into the fray after Rick's killing of Winslow. Rick was going to die until Michonne stepped in and told him to dump garbage on the thing, so it's not like he was exuding leadership at that particular moment.
  17. Instantly noticed a few changes today. Much easier to read with the contrasting colors.
  18. Ethen Beavers has worked on the book and has several pieces for sale on eBay currently: http://www.ebay.com/sch/cretineb/m.html?item=262848796467&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2562
  19. Two new "Iron" Throne pieces. Very different mediums, but the same outstanding result! Scarlet Witch claims the "Iron" Throne by Lan Medina. Medusa claims the "Iron" Throne by Thony Silas
  20. As a side effect of its greed, hedonism and lack of self-control, the Shadow King's long-term telepathic hosts are often morbidly obese. Nose looks the same. I'm on board with this theory @Bosco685.
