  1. Unless I missed it, how will the two accounts be linked? When I log into CGCcomics.com only my real name is listed, not my board name.
  2. My one and only page by Sal, drawn and inked by the man himself. Hulk (or a piece of him) in every panel! http://www.comicartfans.com/gallerypiece.asp?piece=1055926
  3. I did an extensive internet search and this is the only image I could find that was even close to Hulk as a Hostess. Good luck with your search, Dave!
  4. This is my perspective as well. I plan to view every piece of every Lowry in the hopes I will discover some new artists and collections for review. Really looking forward to it. The main reason I promote the Best of is to get people to post their favorite pieces of the previous year. So others can see what they might have missed. The CAF has gotten so big its easy to miss alot of the great artwork out there. Best of also showcases the more obscure artists or collectors tastes. Just post the 5 pieces you really like that your acquired during the year, don't worry if they are popular or not. Its all about sharing your addition with others. That's what I love about the Best of, between dealer posts and a great deal of cheese cake, it's easy to miss some of these amazing pieces, so I appreciate getting to see them all posted together where they can truly be appreciated.
  5. Just took my boys, 7 & 9, to see it today. We all thought it was great. They especially loved the references/easter eggs that tied it to Star Wars Rebels.
  6. I don't have any Sideshow pieces, but after watching the video, I do have a question. Do the pieces click in place or are they held in place by some type of magnet?
  7. he built it When ? In the 'Outlaw Country' episode recently with Jonah Hex when they take out his main villain (Quentin Turnbull). Turnball had killed a time pirate that had a device which could detect dense dwarf star alloy, which had powered Ray’s Atom suit. Turnbull had used the device and found a large horde he had gathered up. Once they took out Turnbull, Ray was super-excited and noted at the end of the episode how he could use the material to rebuild his suit. I remember him finding the dwarf star alloy in the cave, but just didnt see him ever mention or work on a suit other than working on Citizen Steel's suit. I thought he mentioned something in the Flash crossover episode about using an old suit now that he was back in 2016 until he could create a new one?
  8. Didn't see this mentioned yet - Thanos: http://www.forbes.com/sites/lukethompson/2016/11/22/first-look-marvel-premiere-collection-thanos-statue-is-ready-for-an-infinity-war/#41a619cb76df
  9. A couple of recent pick-ups: X-Men (v2) #24, pg. 9 by Andy Kubert & Bill Sienkiewicz Detective Comics #934, pg 18 by Eddy Barrows & Eber Ferreira
  10. Agree, completely. Since they can't go full Negan with the language, I thought okay, they're upping his violence factor to kick things off. I kept waiting for Rick to loose the hand and then when they got to Carl . . .
  11. Agree. My 4 year old daughter has the Pop keychain on her backpack. She had no idea who Spider-Gwen was, but she liked that she was a girl Spider-Man that had pink on her costume.
  12. So, after last night, I have to ask . . .
  13. If we're talking Netflix, Amazon and similar platforms, I'd rather have the option of binge watching the entire season. I may not do it, but if a show is gripping enough, I'd much rather be able to continue watching, if time permits, than have to wait the extra week or so before the next episode.
  14. In case anyone missed it, there was an Aphra action figure variant done for Darth Vader #25:
  15. I didn't say they stopped, however, I do believe Marvel, as a publisher, was more proactive to making social change in those decades than they currently are. I think they are a bit more reactive now, rather than being at the forefront.
  16. Why would a 1970s character be an ode to the 1960s? He wouldn't be, but you're correct, to clarify: I should have said 60s/70s. The point being that it feels like a throwback to the days when Marvel publishing took on more social issues.
  17. It was incredibly ambitious. That's a great word for it. It hit on several nice moments too. It would have been even better if Misty and her boss didn't have the EXACT same conversation a dozen times over several episodes: "Luke's innocent" "We've got to bring him in" "But he didn't do it" "But we've got to bring him in" repeated in the station, on the street, outside the club, over the phone, etc. The plot devices and thematic choices meant to drive the story forward were illogical and strange at times, especially for characters who are put forwards as criminal masterminds, but this is a show I wanted to enjoy and I did somewhat. Not as much as DD for sure, but that's a hard act to follow. No disagreement here, Chris. Maybe because she had to have the conversation with her captain and then all over again with the inspector? Here's a great list of easter eggs for each episode: Den of Geek's Luke Cage: Complete Easter Eggs & Reference Guide I really only noticed it with her inspector, when she came on the job, then in the interrogation room, then outside the club, then back in the station, so many times with the same words between the same two people. It really struck me as strange. But she REALLY believed he was innocent by that fifth conversation! Or just wanted some more coffee.
