I almost bought from them when searching for a good camera supplier a few years ago, but ended up going with B&H also in NYC. They have been a fantastic camera/video company to deal with. If I get email ads from them, I haven't noticed. Maybe a weekly.
I just noticed your Kraven photos! I still have him and the book.

This reminds me of something I see at flea markets now. Some people that are obviously not comic dealers will sell some old, but not rare, comic books. They will go on Ebay to find the value and put the 9.8 price they see on it even though it's an ungraded, beat-up reader copy.

Virtual massages eh?
Seems like there is untapped potential here. You call in and get a very vivid description of how you will be massaged to the point it feels almost like the real thing...
hmm...you may be onto something here, but you would need a haptic body suit so you can actually feel it. Yep, as you said, an untapped potential!

It's hard to tell and I could be way off base, but this might be another of the OP's "joking" posts.
Joking...serious...it's hard to tell the difference even with a very large sample to choose from. I went with joking on this one.

NGL, I read this topic as personal massages, and thought that this forum was about to get weird...

Don't feel bad, you have only been here 7 years. It takes time to learn all the nuances of the site.

Very true.
Like I said, I've had awesome experiences with rural post offices.
But the city stinks.
I've also had generally excellent luck, and they are still my top choice for shipping anything.
I have mixed experiences. In the city I could order something from Amazon and get it the next morning a lot of the time. Now, in a more town type area, it takes several days to get to the town and then eventually they will bring it. I also find it amusing that if I mail a letter to the town next door, it must first go to a hub in a different state and then come back. I understand the reason for that, but it seems kind of funny and inefficient.
Edit: I will say the in-person experiences at post offices in more rural areas are far superior to the city ones for me.

The results so far are concerning. A third are social security age and another batch are just around the corner.

In general people can buy for whatever reason they want. No one cares.

This post brings up a point though. Since this thread is most likely read by "someone," please limit what you say here if the Detective contacts you. The last thing they will want is for him to know what is being done good or bad. Up to this point some may have been under the impression no one in law enforcement cared and now they know calls are being made.

The biggest would be that the slab could easily be accidently cracked and ruined while the book in theory would last your lifetime. The only exterior slab I have signed is a TMNT issue where the creators signed and drew different turtle sketches on the outside.

Glad to see Erik Estrada make an appearance! (I like it when stars from 70's and 80's show up in new popular shows)

Agreed. Season 1 was brilliant. My wife and I enjoyed the entire run, season 1 was the best for both of us by far. Is there any place to stream it now?
The new one doesn’t have a release date yet but if one wants to watch the original it is on Amazon Prime

Heroes Sequel Series Announced With Original Creator (cbr.com)
I loved the first season of the original (like most people), but it will be hard to replicate that. Hopefully they focus on good storylines and nothing else.

I thought it was fine. The main issue might have been trying to serve too many masters, with the all legacy characters and the new characters. They had to dumb it down just to make everything fit, I think. In particular:
I have no idea what Bill Murray and Kumail Nanjiani were even doing in this movie except taking up valuable real estate. The whole subplot about Nanjiani being a "Firelord" was dumb and pointless. Murray just mugged his way through a few scenes without even being particularly funny. They had to try and make everyone "relevant" in the big final fight, and it looked very contrived.
I liked the frozen monster design and wish there had been more about it, and that there had been cleverer scheme to free it than the extremely far fetched scenario that actually occurred.
Yes, the spoiler portion is the part of the movie I didn't enjoy, but it was unfortunately a major part of it. I was not a fan of Kumail or the subplot. It was just silly...... Still worth watching....at home.

Matinee tickets here are $7.75. Where the hell do you guys live???
On 3/28/2024 at 3:48 PM, ADAMANTIUM said:Ikr, we still or "I" may have been a little extreme, but it was in correlation to what he estimated. 1st day viewing in primetime for Imax around here is only $18.75 and that is with tax, but still 2 medium drinks and a reg popcorn is about $22. He was speaking of 4 adults and a child, so double what it would cost me at = $59.
that is only $16 off $75 times 2 so it can feel like, "this better be the best movie ever!" regardless
How to lose a customer, without even trying.

Yeah, I stay more out of habit at this point.
