  1. That particular comic is a Direct Edition with a store bar code sticker placed over the manufactured bar code. If it was a newsstand copy from Dark Horse, it would have Star Wars above the UPC and not Direct Sales. Here is an example of an actual SW Republic 65 newsstand.
  2. Monsters 1 with Ty Yorrick animated kids show. WOTBH Jabba 1 Lompop spans from HR era to at least ESB/SOTE and maybe beyond.
  3. I was under the impression that books are not regraded for a new label or reholder unless the CGC case is damaged. This particular case is still undamaged.
  4. This is an older style label that I will probably switch out someday. Maybe if CGC ever offers an ASM 194 swipe on the label like they did with ASM 238 Hobgoblin.
  5. The ones I currently own were purchased. That said, I’ve had a few 9.9s and a 10.0 that I sold from my own submissions.
  6. @Microchip Beautiful book. One of my favorite Wolverine covers of all time.
  7. That’s an awesome and stunning set. Congratulations.
  8. Yes, it's mine. One of my better purchases here on these boards.
  9. There is a thread for showing: ”Oldest 9.9” “1’s and Keys graded 9.9”
  10. Cover depicting Ben Reilly (Scarlet Spider) possessed by Carnage = Spider Carnage.
  11. RIP Mr. Kelly Very sad news. I was literally think about him last week while looking at Star Wars 1999 series. Great artist, admire his work from Kiss to Vampirella to Star Wars.
  12. As pointed out by @awakeintheashes, using CGC prescreen is a great option. You will need to better your grading skills and learn what a raw 9.8 book looks like in order to avoid too many rejects at $8 per book. Then carefully select books when they are released or preorder in quantity certain issues that you believe will have future potential. I rarely press books. It would have to be worth the extra expense and the time that it would take to get them back.
  13. I believe @joeypostis the man you’re looking for.
  14. I had a similar situation with a few books.without graders notes.
  15. In all fairness, he did mention he is kinda the genius behind it.
  16. After seeing his pressing service and how he handles books, I can only imagine his cleaning service techniques.
  17. America Chavez was in YA vol 2. I never read any of those issues, but Marvel could go that route with the 2.0 lineup. The Kang story could work with young Kang going back in time from where he was originally. Then the 3rd vision was created in place of Iron Lad. Or the MCU could throw a twist at us with Riri Williams introduced into the mix at that point.
  18. I enjoyed the series. It takes place after Avengers Disassembled. No more Scott Lang or Clint Barton. The Avengers where torn apart. The first 6 issue arc involving Kang was fantastic. It could easily be the plot for a movie.
  19. That’s one way to get rid of the back log of submissions.
  20. Iron Lad could be the last YA to be introduced. The YA fought Kang in the first arc and it was revealed that Iron Lad was a young Kang. That could work for the YA movie. For those that haven’t read the story, it would be the big reveal at that point in the movie.
  21. Loki series showed the time line changing and the possibility of multiple versions of Kang. Iron Lad is a young Kang before he becomes Kang. Hulkling’s parents are Captain Marvel and a skrull Princess Anelle. Still possible to introduce Hulkling. Keep in mind, with all the different time lines, the possibility of these Young Avengers to come together emerging from different timelines.
