CGC should find that invoice and reach out to the submitter to request the books be returned for label correction. edit: hopefully the submitter still has some.

Do you believe this person selling these books really thinks they are indeed 1st print from 2011?

I’m curious to know if CGC would consider banning this submitter for fraudulent behavior such as this.

I would lean towards the fact that there are only 4 in 9.8 and that copies don’t come to market often. So a bidding war ensues amongst collectors with deep pockets trying to obtain the high graded book for their collection.

I guess I should be expecting 6.5 at best for my 2 copies currently at CGC.

Monster of Temple Peak most copies I’ve seen had corner tears at the top or bottom of spine. High Republic Adventures 2 back cover has defects. I’m seeing quiet a few with the same manufacturing or printer defects. Reminds me of ASM 361 tears along the bottom edge. Short term, this book might not retain $200. Long term, I think once collectors and fans realize the significance of this book the prices could very well increase above $200 into the $300-$400 range.(movie trailer etc) Marchion Ro is the main bad guy of the High Republic era of Star Wars. Reading the novels is important in understanding the significance of this character. Eye of the Storm 1&2 are the origin issues for Marchion Ro. Disney and Marvel are developing him to be as formidable as any Sith Lord we’ve seen in the past.

I wouldn’t be surprised if HRA5 gets a price increase at some point. I picked up a few copies just in case.

HR 10 was hyped as a cameo of a leveler. Looking closer at that page, it appears to me that it’s Lourna Dee and the Jedi are hallucinating to see something different. The leveler is in a box as shown on an earlier page.

HR 15 was hyped as 1st appearance but you only see a hallucination of a leveler and NOT in it’s true form. IMO the book to get is Eye of the Storm 2. Multiple pages and in its true form. HR 10 has a shadow silhouette of a leveler and 12 a cameo of a head with eyes in a small panel. HR10 HR12

They need to sell all the books they preordered first.

The Rising Storm is where they come into them. I’ll have to go back a read it again. I thought there was only one Leveler in that novel. Guess I was wrong.

Which HR book? Rising Storm was the first book with the Leveler and I haven’t read anything after that one. Edit: Or were you referring to comic book HR 15?

Just a curiosity question. Are you saying it’s not Bo-Karan or just not her first appearance? I’ve seen sellers claim it’s her first appearance in canon.
