A sad stack of cracked cases.

I received 53 books back from CGC this week from 3 different invoices. 47 of the 53 have cracks on the side edges where the top of the case meets the bottom of the case. No damage to the shipping boxes. Wolverine 66. On the right side near the Hulk with the baseball cap the plastic isn’t clear.

Or straight from GEI to Shipped bypassing QC all together. Remember to inspect your slabs upon arrival. I received 53 slabs back this week from 3 invoices. 47 slabs have cracks along the edges. Most of them in the middle right edge where top half of the case meets the bottom half of the case. A few in the lower right edge and several on the left edge bottom near the corner. I'll be calling CGC on Monday. Edit: I will post a few pics later tonight or tomorrow in the QC thread. (Where in the world was the Quality Control at CGC???)

Seller doesn’t accept returns. I’ve started a return and I’m trying to work it out. Clearly the book looks different in hand. Seller claims photo was taken at the time of listing. I believe him, but I think the photo didn’t capture the true color of the back cover.

I recently purchased another copy of Amazing Spider-Man 227 that has better centering than my copy. I noticed a difference in the page quality. My original is clearly white compared to the new copy. Was there a possible error when labeling this book as white pages? The book seems off white to white.

I would definitely grade a few 6s to make some extra pocket money. Last 4 sales $465, $380, $442, $450.

Amazing Spider-Man 194 cgc 9.8 last two sales over $5,000 according to GPA.

It’s the lowest of the set in 9.8 and harder to find for those trying to put together 1-6 in 9.8 Only 203 #6 in 9.8 on the census. Next lowest is #3 at 320 in 9.8 the others are over 500

It seriously does. I think I’m trying to find a creator that isn’t there.

Honestly, check the inside to see what other creators were involved. Could that be an Alex Sinclair (colorist) sig?

I can see/buy into the price increase on Astonishing Tales 25. Only 77 graded 9.8 (edit) 77 blue labels and 11 sig series 9.8 Nova #1 has 449 graded 9.8 (edit) 449 blue labels and 34 sig series 9.8
