That is a cracked case.  The crack is curving up like a smile.  The case should have clear plastic along the edge.  If your looking at the front cover and see a spot that is not clear, then the case is cracked or chipped along the edge where the top half of the case meets the bottom have.. 

Is this being caused from too much pressure during encapsulation process?

I recently sold Robert a Marvel Team Up 9.8 book.  The price was fair and payment was sent immediately.  He’s great to work with and would do business with him again.

The problem is still occurring on my iPhone.  CGC site remembers me but the chat boards doesn’t.  I’m having to go back to CGC main page and log out and then log back in to use the chat boards.

A sad stack of cracked cases.

I received 53 books back from CGC this week from 3 different invoices.  47 of the 53 have cracks on the side edges where the top of the case meets the bottom of the case.  No damage to the shipping boxes.  

Wolverine 66.  On the right side near the Hulk with the baseball cap the plastic isn’t clear.

Remember to inspect your slabs upon arrival.  I received 53 slabs back this week from 3 invoices.  47 slabs have cracks along the edges.  Most of them in the middle right edge where top half of the case meets the bottom half of the case.  A few in the lower right edge and several on the left edge bottom near the corner. I'll be calling CGC on Monday.

Edit:  I will post a few pics later tonight or tomorrow in the QC thread. (Where in the world was the Quality Control at CGC???)

The last few days this function doesn’t seem to Remember Me.  I’ve had to login every time I revisit the chat boards.

I never thought I would say this.  I’m actually looking forward to this movie.

Seller doesn’t accept returns.  

I’ve started a return and I’m trying to work it out.  Clearly the book looks different in hand. Seller claims photo was taken at the time of listing.   I believe him, but I think the photo didn’t capture the true color of the back cover.

The auction photo on the bottom looks white compared to the photo above.  My copy is on top to the left. Im very unhappy about this one.

I recently purchased another copy of Amazing Spider-Man 227 that has better centering than my copy.  I noticed a difference in the page quality. My original is clearly white compared to the new copy.  
 

Was there a possible error when labeling this book as white pages?  The book seems off white to white.

It’s the lowest of the set in 9.8 and harder to find for those trying to put together 1-6 in 9.8

Only  203 #6 in 9.8 on the census. Next lowest is #3 at 320 in 9.8 the others are over  500

edit: back cover too. I bought 3 copies when they were released and they all had it. I submitted one for prescreen 9.8 and it passed.
