  1. Happy to have gotten this before the prices go any higher. Strange Tales is the first title that I began collecting when I started back in the hobby, so this is a great addition to completing that run.
  2. A 9.0. This just arrived today. Really happy to have this copy in my collection.
  3. Received the last of my books from Mark's previous sales thread. He's become my primary source of raw books. I don't know that he needs any more kudos because he has such an established reputation, but hey, a little more boost can never hurt. He's as solid a seller as you could hope for, always treats his buyers right, and is just a generally nice guy.
  4. That story should be made into a movie. I think its possible, but Marvel has decided to tie a lot of movies together with Ultron and Thanos. It makes good financial sense really. Nefaria will definetly be a character to watch in a few years. I love that they are doing tie-ins. If managed well, it could make their cinematic universe a fitting semblance of the comic universe.
  5. We worked out a deal lickety split on my Strange Tales 180, and Leonard help it go smooth as silk. Recommended.
  6. I still remember the first time I encountered Micronaut toys, at my friend Tracy's house. I didn't have any of my own and was fascinated with his. And oh yea, nice comics.
  7. Friendly and professional, John was easy to deal with and got me some excellent books pronto. Thanks!
  8. Well, this one looks interesting. Killdozer (Worlds Unknown 6) currently at $125 on HA. http://comics.ha.com/c/item.zx?saleNo=121409&lotNo=13532
  9. And these are the same people who spent $50 a day on coins/gems/diamond/gold/etc. for Freemium IOS games, whose OCD force them to pay, pay, pay to get their instant gratification. Whales! That's what the gaming industry calls those people. They're rare in the gaming world, but they shell it out.
  10. This. I'm really curious about this. What market conditions are you seeing that make you think this?
  11. Would love a Nick Fury. The Thor pieces would be great to see and Silver Surfer hard to pass up. Awesome stuff!
  12. Naw,the hell you say! I was hesitant to even tack on the "sometimes" on that sentence.
  13. Probably an anomaly. People buy comics irrationally, sometimes.
  14. Closing in. Maybe I'll have nicer copies one day, but I'm pretty happy with these.
  15. Red Sonja has always been interesting in me in the same way that Doc Savage has. I mean, it's not just that I want to canoodle with both of them...they just seem to be some of the most licensed characters out there, jumping publishers and decades. Always seems to be an audience for Big Red.
  16. With a great reputation comes great auction results I lost an auction for this book the other day it went over $87 really solid copy. I couldn't justify paying almost $90 so I gave up http://www.ebay.com/itm/161219899983?ssPageName=STRK:MEDWX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1435.l2649 I bought from that seller once, as in _once_. Returned the book. Grossly overgraded.
  17. Picked up a Strange Tales 116 and Kaspar was gracious enough to include a freebie. Great guy, thanks!
  18. You know, I really never liked Man-Bat, but that is a very cool cover.
  19. What are the grades and prices? Went back today and looked at them. I'd call them: VG/F to F- @ $125 F @ $150 (would be extra sharp if not for CBC on top and bottom front corners) VF-/VF @ 175
