  1. It sold for $1,700 . More then I thought it could sell for..
  2. Yeah thats a real beat up copy . on of the worst I have seen thats complete. This book is in the Action Comics # 1 zone now I guess. Wonder if it breaks $1,500 . Whats a nice clean coverless copy go for now. $2K
  3. Yeah I searched for the 1 episode thing a day myself to set my DVR and nothing.
  4. Coverless copy over $1,200 with 2 days to go.
  5. Seems there is a different book every week that suddenly breaks out , movie news, own title. Glad I am not a modern day collector (even if I own a few just because I got them when I was reading etc) . Prices are silly but someone is paying them. For the price of a 9.8 of some of these I can buy some good silver or bronze. Wish my copies were high grade, would sell them ASAP and put that money to good use.
  6. Dollar Tree sells meat products , I would never.,
  7. Five below is a chain similar to dollar tree and family dollar Nothing at the store can be more then $5. I was there yesterday and got a Capt America (his Shield) T Shirt for $5 . great deal.
  8. I for one dont think this book is worth the crazy prices but shes super popular (as I said) and I am not going to deny that this book is probably one of the top keys of the modern era along with Walking Dead # 1 even if I would not pay $1,8000 for it I think thats crazy but so be it. With these prices its the Hulk 181 of this age I guess. I remember when people used to laugh off the hulk 181 prices . the book still amazes me. (and I am in no way saying she is as important as Wolverine , but she is super popular and crosses over to women)
  9. Yeah that BA 12 is just crazy. I got people who dont know comics asking me if I have one or other harley books or can get them one.. Harley is just crazy popular and sure her popularity will sky rocket after the movie.
  10. I came here to see if anyone saw the cover less copy of AF 15 on Ebay . Seems its already talked about here. I have not looked at the prices of AF15 in quite a long time but wow. its about to hit 1K with 7 days left. And this copy had writting and ink on it etc. And to think when I paid I think $100-$150 a few years ago for a coverless copy I felt I was probably overpaying . Will keep an eye on that auction.
  11. Looks like Agents of Shields is going to be Secret Warriors next season. saw the price of Mighty Avengers #13 (first app) on Ebay shoot up already. http://www.avclub.com/article/marvels-secret-warriors-are-coming-agents-shield-n-221500 Since the show started, ABC’s Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. has been determined to make viewers like Chloe Bennet’s character, Skye. She was the audience surrogate at first, an (apparently) original character who was new to the world of super spies that was just naive enough to need her fellow agents to show her the ropes, but enough of an expert hacker that she could always help them out of a jam if the plot demanded it. Then, the show gave her super powers, revealed that her real name is Daisy Johnson, and suddenly she was a crucial member of the team—and, perhaps more importantly, an actual character from the comics. Hopefully, Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. viewers are on board with Skye/Daisy’s importance to this little corner of the MCU, because it sounds like she’s going to become an even bigger part of the show when it comes back in September. According to a Variety report, season three of Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. is going to introduce the Secret Warriors, a covert team of super-people who—in the comics—are led by none other than Daisy Johnson.

  15. Dude that is so awesome. Would love one of those.
  16. Thanks for the heads up. Out of the bag it will go . Should the Superman 75 books be out of the bag ? Mins probably a mess now.
  17. So is the consensus that the comic should be taken out of the poly bag? Curious . Not selling mine but at the same time dont want it to get ruined. Heck I still have my Superman 75 somewhere sitting in its polybag. Never opened that.
  18. If it interested I'd recommend the movie "12 Days of Terror" which was a movie made about the attacks. Never heard of it but will definitely be looking for it. Thank you.
  19. Love that movie. Just finished watching a documentary that was on today on the original Shark Attacks in NJ in 1916 that the book/movie was based on. Since I live across the street from the creek where the kids were attacked in 1916 its always been an interest to me.
  20. Just got lucky. Was in a local comic book store with my son and we decided to run into the Five Below that was 5 minutes from there there which i have never been to and lo and behold they had a Marvel Now Point One #1 bag which I grabbed . Also had another with the bagged Adventures of Superman # 500 . Have not opened the bag yet with the Point One yet so not sure what else is with it. On the back is Infinity # 4 . The bagged Superman had a copy of Alpha Flight # 20 , G.L.A # 2 and Titans # 15 Ok the other comics were Avengers # 30 Original Sin and Amazing Spider man Learning to Crawl. .
  21. Kind of glad I grabbed a copy for $8 when they were sitting there at MCS last month. This books about to blow up again like when the news broke that he may be in the movies.
