  1. Wow nice ! Dell'otto OA coming up big time. And that wasn't even an ASM cover. Probably would have gone even higher if it was. -J.
  2. The 667 Went for $2500 more in the 9.8 and beats it handily in all lower grades. The UF 4 is a warehouse book , not rare at all. I'm still trying to figure out the rationale behind some of these prices I've seen for it. -J.
  3. Sweet cover! A somewhat different style for him too. -J.
  4. It's definitely worth a shot. I got the first black Pirate added to action 23 and first mention of batcave to batman 12. First appearance of kindred also just got added to the last volume of ASM 1. -J.
  5. The final price, including BP, is added within a couple seconds/couple minutes at the end of the auction so that was the final number. @Timeless icons I usually notice it the other way around- the gap between the two companies being less on the bigger keys (but there almost always is a gap, about a 20% discount on average, certainly not a 50% discount though, not on keys at least). -J.
  6. A questionable result given that a 9.8 CBCS just sold for half that last week. I understand CBCS sells at a discount to CGC, but it isn't that much of a discount. -J.
  7. That clink 225 sale is looking like an outlier. 175k-ish seems to be the average for that grade now. Yeah , I'll take it too. -J.
  8. Did you by any chance see what the 6.5 on comicconnect went for ? -J.
  9. Sorry, but with multiple 700MM++ grossers in the books, it's done. And dorky LA ain't a litmus for the vast majority of the country, which has moved on from this BS a loooooong time ago. -J.
  10. Great holds for week 2 but alas , the equally nostalgia- laden jurassic Park movie coming out next weekend is going to throw cold water on the Top Gun party. -J. (PS- The "'pandemic' era" for movies ended when all theaters were "allowed" to reopen at full capacity a long time ago wish people would retire that silly term once and for all).
  11. Congrats to you! Hate to see you leave the club but happy to see you well compensated on the way out. -J.
  12. The 9.8 CBCS copy just went for an unimpressive 22k on comiclink and the CGC 9.6 sold for what the 667 9.4 sold for last month , so I'd say we already have pur answer (again). -J.
  13. Isn't this the same 9.4 that just sold on comiclink ? ‐J.
  14. Luis seems to like comparing everything to the batman. Guess he forgot to mention this cost 80 million less than that to produce and just made the same amount of money opening weekend, with no China, and a far superior domestic. #Bat-meh -J.
  15. A 9.8, 667 Dell'otto just dropped in thr latest heritage signature auction. https://comics.ha.com/itm/modern-age-1980-present-/superhero/the-amazing-spider-man-667-dell-otto-variant-cover-marvel-2011-cgc-nm-mt-98-white-pages/a/7274-91010.s?ic2=mytracked-lotspage-lotlinks-12202013&tab=MyTrackedLots-101116 -J.
  16. It won't have an effect at all. The blue label may go for more. Signed copies have a smaller market. -J.
  17. I've seen sources that say 175MM, and I'm not arguing minutia with you since $25MM either way does not stop the movie from being a bomb no matter how many times Scott mendelson on forbes hyperventilated about how "historic" it's, in-fact, weak box office numbers were. -J.
