  1. That looks aweome man and the full set up kicks azz! -J.
  2. Geezus Criminey. When has it ever said that Spider-Man or Peter Parker is definitely not in the film or that there is no point or connection made in this film or another one (like, say Infinity Wars, for example)? Right now Tom Holland has a rumoured credited appearance on IMDB so there isn't even a smidgen of solace to be taken in that and in that the industry consensus is that he is in fact in the movie in some capacity. People whine and cry when there's too much shown in a trailer. Then they whine and cry when they think not enough is shown. So you have two options from where I sit- either be patient and wait for the movie and enjoy what Sony and Marvel have in store. Or don't. But right now I'm seeing a very fine attempt at putting something great together, starring multiple Oscar and Golden Globe nominated actors, so when someone spouts about the "acting", I'm sorry but I just have to roll my eyes. And the nearly 25MM YouTube views of the trailer in the first 24 hours tells me this is going to kill it at the box office. -J.
  3. Is it weird that I knew almost exactly what your opinion was going to be as soon as I saw your name posted to the thread? -J.
  4. The word "symbiotic" derives from that word. Her pronunciation is technically accurate. She also has an accent. -J.
  5. Also im wondering if the girl in the padded cell is/will be Scream. -J.
  6. Man oh man. I think I may literally swoon. It really does look like they are doing all they can to get this right and do right by the fans. October can't get here fast enough. -J.
  7. You could always ask them to grade it under their "Qualified" criteria (green label). -J.
  8. That quote from Feige is extremely oblique and from years ago, and still no one has ever even hinted at Namor being in anything. There's a reason for that. The rights situation with the Hulk is not the same as with Namor, although Universal is the principal involved with both of them. Marvel has shared rights with Hulk. Universal has sole rights to Narmor (as well as She-Hulk, incidentally). Unless Marvel actively pursues some kind of similar agreement with Universal as they did with Sony (and there are no indications that they are), or Univeral decides to simply make a Namor movie on their own (extremely remote, but hey, technically anything is possible), you won't be seeing Namor anytime soon. Maybe even never due to all the hurdles that would have to be jumped and concessions that would have to be made to make it happen. Such actions were warranted with Spider-Man. Namor? Meh. Not so much. -J.
  9. I'm not sure the age of the comic is relevant. If the demand is there then that's all that matters. Although I do note (as others have) that the price of FF 48 would be even higher if it were comparably available as other SA keys. I personally don't completely mind it as it gave me an opportunity to own a relatively high grade copy of a book I only dreamed about owning as a youngster, for a relatively decent price. -J.
  10. Tell that to hulk 181, ASM 300, NM 98, Nyx 3, etc.... -J.

  13. Universal still has the rights to submariner and Disney does not seem to be in any rush to get the rights back. If people really are only buying FF 4 because they believe he will be in a movie any time soon, they will be disappointed. -J.
  14. What ? Watch them. The finale won't let you down. -J.
  15. Now, Hannibal, THAT was a good show. And it actually had a plot that was discernible and worth following, rather than nothing but over-wrought, vacuous visuals that serve no purpose other than to try to convince (or distract) the viewer into believing they are watching something amazing and compelling when there is actually very little to nothing actually going on at all (i.e. Legion). I too was sad to see Hannibal go, but hey, how about that finale? They definitely left it all on the field in a manner of speaking. -J.
  16. Saw it yesterday. If you saw The Descent and Signs, you saw this. Not completely bad, but tons of gaping wide plot holes, serious gaps in logic and lots of stupid character decisions to drive a very thin plot. Definitely a Redbox rental. -J.
  17. Very nice. I've been looking for one of these. I have a cheaper repro version. -J.
  18. I see a print of the 667 variant down there in the corner. -J.
  19. Maybe this show would be better (and get better ratings) if it took place in North Dakota. -J.
