Actually, the lower grades usually have higher "price per points" than the mid grades, as there tends to be greater competition at the entry level grades. -J.

On the GPA I'm looking at, 9 out of the 14 arrows for 90 day sales activity are green (in 0.5 and up grades). But of the five red arrows showing, one is down less than 3% (2.5 SS), another is down less than 2% (4.5) and another showing a red arrow, in fact has a GPA high for its most recent sale (1.0). Hardly the full scale book wide price drop some seem to be hoping for. The book is indeed primed for another advancement in prices if supply remains constricted like this into con season. -J.

"Quite a drop" from what? What a 5.0 sold for ? This isn't a 5.0. What comiclink sales can you link to that were significantly higher than the sale price of this 4.5 in the last six months? And Bob Storms is great but he specifically does not share the results of his private sales so he is not a data source. -J.

No, it's not. The all time GPA high for this grade is $29,870, which was realized in November, 2017. Even factoring in that high sale, the price realized on this copy is but $800 below 12 month averages. -J.

In tonight's CC auction: 6.0 (heavily chipped and book looks otherwise over graded)- $42,850 7.0- $107,000 (very large spread for just two grade points in these mid-grade ranges.) -J.

And the last 2.5 sold for $7600 just last year. AC 23 has been rolling for two or three years now. And as is so often, Gator was way ahead of the curve. -J.
