  1. A 20 spot says this guy immediately rushed to the local parlor to have that inked on permanently. why does MJ have doc ock arms? because the doc is down stairs earning his red wings???
  2. Other than the infamous ASM 129 roach drawing... I thought this is a candidate. (of course with him puling in $100 per sig, he doesn't care what he signs)
  3. Very stylized. A lot of looseness. I never read the comic so this is all new to me and have zero expectations. Off of the pilot I am intrigued, but far from loving it. I will need a couple more episodes to let it sink in though.
  4. What?!?!?! Blame it on the negative reviews, and my realization that Jennifer Lawrence is the main part of the entire movie. yeah this worked in the last sequel, but from the previews it looks like they are over doing it... I not really a JL fan. I mean she's hot and all but I don't think her Mystique is all that. It would've been the same if the first trilogy they made Halle Berry a huge lead. I mean before X3 she won some huge awards but I really didn't see her role of storm enough to take a huge part of screen time.
  5. Looks like Apocalypse is heading for stinksville! Wow! RT critics are destroying this movie!!! Is there a pattern here??? The 2000 X-men movie was good, X2 was awesome and X3 was a letdown... First class was great, Days of future Past was even better and now this looks like a bad rental. Now given I don't put 100% faith in this critic system, but I find it spot on about 85% of the time. There were some good movies that they got wrong and some overrated movies that left me scratching my head.
  6. I've seen 7.0s with a crease like that. I haven't. That's what, a five inch color breaker? When I was submitting a lot of comics and buying a lot of SA slabs, even a much smaller color breaking corner crease would take an otherwise pristine book down to a 7.0. Regardless, if I'd submitted that comic I'd be astonished and thrilled at how it graded out, and if I'd bought it sight unseen as a 6.0 I'd be sorely disappointed. There's nothing 'fine' about it to me. Yeah, with that corner smash and the dog eared BRC I'd be dancing in the street if I got a FN grade on this book. Matter of fact I gotta a couple of key books that have a long crease like this that are raw and are absolute cherry other than that. I figured with that alone it was a 6.0 copy but now maybe it's an 8.5???
  7. That's why I get so puzzled Comic Link only scans the front. With their new website redesign I thought that would've been a must have... maybe not.
  8. Another exercise in fun!... Guess the grade and then pop the window:
  9. So, do you think Boba will appear in this one?
  10. Careful, it might end up getting 35% on RT due to lack of humour and being too dark.
  11. So the same universe and timeline for the stories set in the same places with the same characters yet the acting in the new film is drastically superior, but is a ridiculous comparison? It doesn't really matter to most people if their character is a man or woman, black, white or asian, as long as they are solid in their role and tell the story well. Some people only see the surface I guess. What part of "Why can't it be a black, or asian or hispanic woman" did you miss? I personally just want to be entertained by something original. Hollywood is stuck in a certain concept = The cookie cutter caucasian female heroine. Fact: Something repetitive that wasn't before becomes an object of attention. And there is nothing shallow here. I've already stated that I like this in some recent films. It's just when it's over done it seems like a fad money grab exercise when the Star Wars doesn't need to be because it will sell no matter what! Anyway agreed to disagree, It's an opinion. YAWN!
  12. The prequels were garbage for the most part so that's both a ridiculous assessment and comparison.
  13. I'm with you. but this could be the start of their under cover significance. This has never been explored.
  14. Was waiting to see when the first complaint about the gender of the main character was going to surface. There it is! YEP! ok now what??? I'll go a step further... Why can't it be a black, or asian or hispanic woman??? I guess that just wouldn't hit the Hunger Games formula! I really don't give a BLANK... I'm stating the obvious that this is being done A LOT! I guess I need to start buying stock in Jane Bond and Rambo'ette???
  15. I guess I'll be the first to say it... This looks more like a Star Wars type of Hunger Games. I fear Hollywood's beating the female baddass movie-line to death... Every once in a while a Ripley styled movie is cool, but with Mad Max, Ghostbusters and the Force Awakens all radically shifting to all female leads it's just getting colossally boring. and I liked Mad Max and I semi liked awakens... I mean why not use a badassed alien like why the Bothans to illustrate why this species was so important to the Star Wars Mythos?
  16. I'll wait for the reviews. There is too high a bar set to be blowing good money on a POS no matter how good it looks.
  17. Me, too. And just a good person to do business with. A lot of good sellers on these boards got tired of the drama here and the low ball offers. I still believe this place is a great place to sell to some really good people/boardies, but for many long-time boardies such as myself I have gradually seen the decline in serious clienteles here on the boards. I've sold a lot here and bought a lot here... The best thing about the boards is that it helps with quick cash and no fees! Yeah I know you leave some money on the table here, but that's the price of business for the quick and dirty with no fees and no juice!
  18. wow what a great cover! Holy trained apes with chained maces!
