  1. A lot of his European covers never made it to the U.S.
  2. , that'd be zero They are not an originator of information on comics. Go with diamond's information, an original presser on its release, or one of the many comic database sites out there, when seeking accurate printing information. Obviously publisher/diamond is primary source, those comic db's would/should qualify as secondary sources, large third-party guys like mycomicshop, comicspriceguide, comiccollectorlive etc would be the tertiary sources. content aggregators and hobbyist/homebrew sites are bottom of the barrel for that kind of information and acquired "their" info from one of the primary, secondary or tertiary sources (the same as you can) Where are any of these available to the public? As Jaydog mentioned, MCS is usually pretty accurate but I pointed out that they are not even accurate all the time.
  3. 1:10 It had a nice uptick about two years ago. I remember because I was looking for one for a show I was going to that Adams was at. I'm inclined to think it's not even a ratio variant. MCS is very good about identifying and specifying ratio books, along with the required ordering ratios on their site and even they just call it a "limited variant". -J. They also don't have the 1:10 listed for #1. SALVATION RUN #1 Standard Edition (SEP070153) is on Final Order Cutoff on Thursday, October 25. As a reminder, retailers may order one copy of the Variant Edition (SEP070154), featuring a cover by Joe Corroney, for every ten copies of the Standard Edition ordered. FWIW, CBSI has it as a 1:25. http://comicbookinvest.com/2015/03/13/hot-10-comics-7/ Either way, I put the likelihood of it being a "1:100" at a 0:0. -J. ...and 1:10 http://comicbookinvest.com/2015/02/13/covers-unknown-salvation-run-7-110-variant-june-2008/

  6. ...arrived to your store as a ‘2nd Printing.’ This is due to a printing error on the UPC code of the 1st Printing that caused the book to be delayed. At the same time, a second printing was initiated — and now a third — all great for the organization but the re-stickering of the first print caused this error to occur. Can someone explain this in English? So the 1st print had a UPC error and was delayed. A 2nd print was run. OK Were the 1st prints shipped out?
  7. Some of them look pretty nice. Remember Gwenpool's Secret Secret Wars, it only takes one to hit. True that was the "Gwen" month. There are 3 that I like a lot. If we look at that model, the two obvious ones hit, Venom & Deadpool. The Venom Deadpool in this lot is not great art, IMO, and it has already been done. Could there be a Wolverine Venom? Sure, why not. There's Old Man Logan and X-23. Take your pick. No, I'll stick with the Wolverine. There isn't an X-23 series and Logan is, well Logan.
  8. Ordering rules for Venomized variants is similar to other themed variants such as Skottie Young Baby, Hip Hop or Action Figure. Retailer can order as many as they like as long as orders for the the regular cover meet or exceed xx% of insert_comic_book_here. Given Midtown offers the same 15% discount on these variants regardless if you preorder or purchase after release, I'd probably just wait until release to get free shipping. True, or just wait a month and get them cheaper. These will not be hard to find. No incentive ratio, they released all the covers during pre-order, people on here are already talking about it. That's like the kiss of death. Some of them look pretty nice. Remember Gwenpool's Secret Secret Wars, it only takes one to hit. True that was the "Gwen" month. There are 3 that I like a lot. 10. The big boy still has them up for pre-order.
  11. Correct. Depends if the buyer leaves feedback. The 30 day summary of the winning bidder looks pretty clean as well. One thing I didn't notice is the seller hasn't had any feedback in a year. It doesn't seem like they buy or sell anything very often.
  12. http://shop.comicxposure.com/VENOM-MADNESS_c256.htm?sortOrder=1 Really?
  13. Interesting. The original (and now updated) story was from Umberto Gonzalez. He is / used to be considered the insider of comic book new. He puts out as much real news as fake news.
  14. I don't disagree that it looks suspicious. I don't think I've ever had a bid retraction. 5% with one seller though, again, would be a lot of work to create a shill. I guess it could just be a group of online friends bidding it up.
  15. CGC is a grading company who usually includes information about the book. They are not the decider of what is and what isn't. At the end of the day, all that matters is what you think. I think harry potter is in a comic book
  16. Ryan Reynolds Shoots Scene as Deadpool for ‘Logan’ (Exclusive) Umberto Gonzalez | December 28, 2016 @ 10:35 AM Ryan Reynolds recently shot a scene as Deadpool for 2017’s “Logan,” TheWrap has exclusively learned. An individual with knowledge of the project tells TheWrap the “Deadpool” scene in “Logan” will most likely become a post-credit scene. Fox declined to comment. http://www.thewrap.com/ryan-reynolds-deadpool-logan/
