  1. Why would Negan appear before Jesus?

Why is Andrea alive in the comics, dead on the show?

Why did the Gov not do anything to Michonne on the show?

Where is Daryl in the comic?

OP was correct. Negan isn't going to be on for a good while. Check my post a page back. Ezekiel will be showing up, but again, not for a while.

It hasn't been a hard formula to figure out if you sit down and actually look at it.

how is WD 100 a $25 book? every shop had long boxes of extras of it. or is it just a particular cover?

Just the "FEAR" cover, with Negan in a shadow. Harder to find, for me at least.

  3. How about big Zeke?

The Alexandria Safe-Zone is initially introduced in issue 69 and Peter Anderson is executed in issue 77. Ezekiel and Shiva are introduced in issue 108. At this rate, Ezekiel won't be around until at least season 9 of the television series, assuming (and hoping) it gets that far.

Food for thought. Next season will be 6.

  4. x-men 256 high grade copies sure dried up fast after the psylocke announcement.

Did they or did you just list some that you are trying to hype?

    ???

Don't own any of this book, but always on the look out. I sure don't see anymore 9.8...do you?

I'm sure there are some 9.8's in there.

  5. Some of what you quoted was set-up stuff that was done in the Agent Carter TV show (and tied into the SHIELD tv show).

The events of those shows will likely tie back into the movies eventually (since they both were spin-offs from the movies to begin with). That's done easily with a 2 minute backstory of the character if necessary.

But Marvel is also getting to the point where they're saying "look, we're not hand-holding anymore. Figure it out. You're smart enough to do it. We've covered it somewhere so far" the same way they do with comics (flight of fancy: I can only image the applause the movie would get if an editor's note box popped up in the corner of a screen at some point down the line)

I get that feeling also, and I think that is going to be trouble for them.

  6. He won't or won't he? hm

Remember Sebastian Stan signed for 3 more pictures with Marvel.

Chris Evans is signed to be in Avengers 3 which comes after the Cap Civil War movie. It will happen at some point as Sebastian Stan is signed on for nine movies.

The infinity war involves strong timeline changing events, including resurrections, with the power of the stones unleashed. I wouldnt count on Evans not dying in Civil War, its the most compelling part of the event, and sort of the point.

Just a bunch of heroes slugging it out, not going to cut it, and not Marvels style. Also, Peggy Carter has already introduced Dr. Faustus and put him into the Shield infiltration by Hydra story by having him as cellmates of Zola.

With Sharon already set up as well. I'd almost guarantee you are on the wrong side of this bet, its pretty much a lock that he dies in Civil War, or its immediate aftermath (if they end it with him being arrested, he is still going to die via the CW storyline, in one of the following films).

I'm not following half of what you are talking about. Does this have to do with the TV shows? I know they said their would be some tie-in, but you can't expect a non-comic book reader to walk in off the street to see a movie and have any idea of what is going on if they don't watch the TV shows as well.

  7. You guys and your fancy cabinets. My comics are all bagged and boarded and stored in my "long boxes". I use boxes that baby wipes come in :) they are just the right size for the comics width and you can hold about a hundred in there. Best of all, costs you nothing extra.

I have one diaper box and one laundry detergent box that both seem to work perfectly as well.

  8. Where do you guys store all these books??

Im having hard time keeping up with silver-bronze lot purchases alone..

I come across tons of drek in multiples but I always pass on those as I refuse to pay for a storage unit.. Both my house AND work are filled up already and I gotta be very conservative with big purchases

If I'd tell you how many pre unity Valiants I came across in the past year alone and walked out on...

The "main" part of my comic collection is in lateral file cabinets in my office (3 4-drawer, 2 2-drawer) along with a standard 4-drawer file cabinet and a 2-drawer. More are stored in about 15 4-drawer file cabinets. The rest have to go in about 50-60 long boxes and 20-25 short boxes because I ran out of file cabinet room. :insane:

I am meeting with a guy this afternoon with the hope of buying 2-3 more lateral file cabinets. I LOVE those for comics storage and hate having to keep some in the standard file cabinets. As I obtain more lateral file cabinets I'm selling off the standard ones.

Do you use legal size upright cabinets? You can get two rows across in one of those. Just wondering what your preference is to the lateral.

  9. Jubilee confirmed for X-Men Apocalypse.

    Stupid lemmings.

    lol

Average of 2-4 sales a day for months....then 39 sales in the last 6 hours.

    lol

    Stupid lemmings.

And they say the market isn't going to crash...

Buying 25 year old books isn't what crashed the market. Just ask the guy I bought a case of Superman 75 3rd prints from a few months back.

No, buying 25 year old books wasn't what crashed the market. It was buying new books that did it.

What will crash the market this time...?

    hm

Buying those same books, which are now 25 years old....

    It's the cirrrrrrcle of liiiiiffffffe....

The same thought went through my mind but I was too lazy and inarticulate to post it. Having said that, I hope the market never crashes again and book prices keep going up, at least for the duration of my life (which makes me think of Homer talking to God - "You'll find out when you die" - "Ahh, I can't wait that long." - "You can't wait six months?" - "No, tell me now.") I'd prefer to regret not buying a BA 12 9.8 when I had the chance than try to house my family in a pile of long boxes.

Maybe, maybe not. We are trying to apply the same formula to a different situation and still get the same answer. Head over to the Valiant thread where people have talked about just throwing away lots of books. Also, head to any quarter bin, pretty much guaranteed there will be some early Image and post-Unity Valiants in there. Well taken car of, of course. :baiting:

I think we have all seen high grade books that we didn't think had value sell for a nice price to people who wanted their childhood memories back.
