  1. And Waller has been on multiple shows, nothing. Brother Blood saw a mini spike, same as Ravager II
  2. I thought it was his origin until someone else brought it up. Then I reread it. Time to move on? Am I going to ruin your "investment" if the truth gets out? No people are just tired of reading about it move on like the other poster said. okie dokie
  3. yes, and...? I was suggesting these books could be potentially undervalued long/mid-term. See thread title Thank you, yes they could. That is what I typically try and feature in my hauls.
  4. Squirrel Girl and twice as many appearances as Livewire and All-Star combined too.

  6. If you're asking whether the episode or the comic came out first, I'm not sure, but... I have the 1990s Superman Animated Series DVD set and watch the shows semi-regularly with my toddler. I had never heard of Livewire, but watching the episode (this a few months before the recent hype) I did think she was a fun character with some potential. Her name and costume are cool, and in this episode she did have some of the zing of the early 90s Harley. I need to get my VHS slabbed.
  7. I have no interest in arguing semantics with you. Have a nice day. It's not really semantics. The story doesn't tell why or how he became Rocket Raccoon. I agree that this is the perceived origin. It's kind of like saying that it's Constantine in Swamp Thing #25. The writers have said that it was supposed to be Sting, but the perception is that it's a cameo of Constantine.
  8. Origin story, in comic books, describing how a character gained their special abilities and/or how they became a superhero or supervillain It is definitely perceived as his origin, but the story does not accomplish this. It focuses on what happens on his planet and ends with him flying off, probably to meet up with Hulk.
  9. Quick, name five Copper or Modern origin books that have risen in value... Annhilators 3 Batman Adventures Mad Love Suicide Squad 7 Hellboy Seed of Destruction Batman Annual 1 Annhilators 3 <--Not actually an Origin book Batman Adventures Mad Love <-- OK Suicide Squad 7 <-- this was the only one I could think of when I typed the question Hellboy Seed of Destruction <-- I'll take your word for it, don't know much about Hellboy Batman Annual 1 <-- New 52? This is the first Mr. Freeze, that's why it's popular
  10. You seriously collect low-grade copies? You seriously "collect" comics?
  11. There are a lot of better investments you could get for $100.
  12. I don't think anyone said that All-Star would be introduced, just that they are going to introduce more women so now people are scrambling. They may all be new characters, like Jessica Cruz. (who you say? yup) What is the source for this? Where did DC say they were going to introduce more women? One of the main reasons for the launch of the New 52 was to introduce more diversity.
  13. First graded 9.8 TWD #127 has hit the bay. It looks like it has the corner split. Is an SS too and a doozy of a price for a normal cover that's a month old.

  16. It's finally been established what we are allowed to classify as worthy books. Only those books that have firmly established characters and/or are appearing in movies. There is no room for any new speculation or market fluctuation on anything otherwise.
  17. Oh, please enlighten me on how to sell on eBay. Peace, Chip It didn't say "HOT HOT HOT" or "L@@K" -slym Not even "SOLD OUT", it's so worth buying that second line.

  19. You can own one now . . . Oh, and btw, it's the same art. SOLD! I believe the saying is "...one born every day"?
  20. I would think that book would have to be an SS books to sell well. You can still find some core X-men collectors that want a 9.8, but an SS would do very well. Raw it just isn't in demand a whole lot anymore looks like it pulls around $8 in NM. ...even less than that, I'm afraid. http://www.ebay.com/itm/The-Uncanny-X-Men-248-1989-NM-9-4-White-Pages-1st-Jim-Lee-Artwork-/221432421132?pt=US_Comic_Books&hash=item338e669b0c Peace, Chip Looks like $9.57 to me.
