Looks like Jae Lee's art, maybe it's first work or something?
I don't think it is Jae Lee
Cover:
Pencils: Liam Sharp
Inks: Liam Sharp
Interior:
-script: Chuck Dixon
Pencils: Juan Zanotto
Inks: Juan Zanotto
Colors: Tom Vincent
Letters: Ken Lopez
The cover doesn't look anything like Jae Lee art. Looks closer to an newbie Jim Lee.

I should have mine slabbed then.
We're talking first to the market. It usually sells for higher.

Marvel Tales 98. Buy, buy, buy.
Yup, 98, 99 & 106

Potential book to watch:
Not copper, but worth mentioning here since everything else Constantine-related is copper. Origin of Papa Midnite, 12k print run. 5 issue mini.
It's not doing anything...yet. I have 3 sets and these can still be found cheap online.

Wow nice sale! Livewire is crazy hot. #5 has now broken the $120 mark.
so I wonder how much the first graded 9.8 will sell for.
I am waiting for one to pop up. Surprised there hasn't been someone who got one graded at a con or something. I am going to guess $200.

Next big DC Character ala (Harley Quinn & Livewire) - Justice League Adventures #13 first "All Star - AKA Olivia Dawson" - yep you heard it here first. Will be making her way to DC52 soon.
Fairly certain it's her only appearance EVER.
Yup, interestingly enough she was created by Dan Slott.
-
I think his first appearance was Man-Thing 3

Are you insane? I found it for 50p just the other day. You can get the full run for less than $20 you lunatic.
Must be Friday...
Must be a full moon.

Ha! And now SA 4 is sold out at MCS. Good job, gang!
Hmm, even they only had one copy.
-
That is a perfect example of why people want the "second" appearance.
-
Isn't it just her picture in an advertisement for 5? That's not an appearance.
-
following the logic of Harley 2nd appearance and covers going for nice coin, i see his pointOK, if you are saying b/c it's a nice cover I can understand that. But, not because it's her 2nd appearance. I would think people would want the Action Comics before this.Yes, but let's not stir that pot, ha.

I know I'm probably pushing the limits on Copper, but it would seem to be just a matter of time before this one breaks . . .
Why?
Surely you jest. Just look at the front cover again.

I wonder how long that'll last.
Hopefully longer than Bernie.

Word of Bernie's death is spreading fast, driving up TWD 127

If you're tripping over piles, feel free to send some my way.
Peace,
Chip
I will take some as well. Just send me those pesky Amazing Spider-Man books.

True and I don't have any of these books but I regret not buying a ton of them when there was a lull. The director of this show is Guillermo del Toro. This guy did Hellboy and I thought it was 1 of the few comic to movie conversions that were well done. I throw the Crow and a few other comics into this category. The fact that its a TV show gives it 3 months of exposure as compared to a movie which if it was well received, might get a month. I think this has winner written all over it.
That is a very good point. Typically you think a movie brings more exposure, and it does to the masses. But, a well done TV show can POTENTIALLY bring more to the market.

What was the last TV show to be based on a comic before the Strain? It can't be Painkiller Jane.
2007?

What do you guys think of Shazam 28. The prices have been going up monthly. Possible speculation on The Rock playing Black Adam? Low CGC census, is that due to no one caring or low print runs?
Sold a mid grade for $50 recently. Not particularly easy to find for some reason.
I don't even know where my high-numbered Shazams are . . . the attic maybe?

If the Rock is announced to play Black Atom Adam, and not Lobo like a lot of ppl are thinking, I think the book will explode. Already selling at a decent price on pure speculation alone. #25 is a nice Shazam key as well to keep an eye out for.

Sold a lower grade for $33. Surprisingly I have found all mine in the bargain bins.

There have been a lot optioned just this year. They don't make it to TV in a couple weeks. After the option you play the waiting game. Sometime so long you forget it was ever optioned....

Bingo!
Hard to compare her anywhere close to even Livewire when she only has one lonely appearance.
