  1. Those are very cool crossover books! Did not even imagine "Superman in the HOM"!
  2. Nice classic shot of Barnabas complete with ring and wolf's head cane!
  3. One can only TRY Shiver! ! I just reread your post, I thought you were referring to a cover artist I didn't know! Yes it does look like Kerry, I think in the story he flip-flops and goes back in the bottles!
  4. Sweet! These digests were sold in multipacks? How many to a pack, just 2?
  5. While I wish that all these digests were in HG, I would most like this one to be as it's a killer issue and a fav!
  6. Not really Bronze Horror but this digest reprinted some of the best Turok stories including the origin of how they came to be in the "Lost Valley" so I've always treasured it!
  7. Also I'm away from a scanner so these are digital camera pics!
  8. It's funny how much one can accumulate over the years! I've had these since I was a kid and totally forgot about them until the recent post! Pretty beat up but that's just from rainy day in the summer readin' in my youth!
  9. AHHHH! Pov, is that writing on the cover "July 12" in between the gun and phone on the desk! Say it ain't so!
  10. Just for you Julusnc! I still remember drying this guy/gal? out over my sisters bedroom lamp while listening to Pink Floyd's Dark Side Of The Moon LP - (Christ, I'm old!) It's the only survivor from the kit! BTW: Welcome to the Boards!
  11. These are REALLY cool, thanks for sharing!
  12. *Sigh* I know this joke is very tired but I can't believe you guys are showing each other your "Man-Things"!
  13. That is still tough for me also, personally I think QP comes highly into play when drifting into the 9.4 realm.
  14. Only six 9.0s outa that group, not bad at all! How close were those grades to what you expected?
  15. spookyaktion, where ya been? Great book but I've always had a problem with the little kid in Manny's arms. It really looks like an afterthought to me! I could almost believe that it wasn't even drawn by Morrow but added in by someone else. I could be wrong on this but it would be nice to see the original art to see if the kid was pasted on.
  16. Way to go! I love this book for many reasons! Most covers are cut and dry, meaning you can tell what's going to happen, eg. man about to kiss skeletal bride or kids just about to be seen/caught viewing a murder/secret happening. This cover you don't really know the story here, the boy doesn't look frightened so much as surprised to me. Why is he in a wheelchair? Is that creature there to hurt or help? Then there's the colors! That deep blue against that lime yellow/green! And of course the Kaluta art. Wow! Great all around, nice choice.
  17. Ghosts # 65 was the LAST issue in the run for me too! Also weird that I purchased it from Chuck. Kept checking, always sold out then poof it was listed and I nabbed it! I do need an upgrade on my # 63 though. WWTs # 24 & 25 are definitly 2 of my top 10 covers in that run!
  18. Great story! I love hearing stories like that. The last page is so very subtly chilling I now have to get a copy! The look on that woman's face is priceless.
  19. So great to see these books! Curious about the "Approved Reading" logo. Is this a precursor to the CCA stamp or something entirely different? Any info would be appreciated, thanks!
