  1. I'm reposting these in the right thread now that we have a home here!
  2. Yeah, that cover rocks! Unfortunatly they never topped the first issue cover IMHO!
  3. I'll have to dig out my Deadworld too! Meantime...The Gurch!
  4. I'm already waiting to be yelled at for posting my "Copper Horror" books over in the Infinite Bronze Horror thread, so yes!
  5. That makes sense, I would think the rise of the "independent" titles factor into this as well.
  6. What criteria are you using as the cut off date 1984 for the Bronze age, could you explain? BTW: I'm all for a Copper Age section!
  7. I just have a smattering of Gore Shrieks also, there was also a second series. I swear one of the most disturbing stories I ever read came out of one of these issues, about a woman captured, tied up in a sack by some hill people and used as shooting practice! Brutal! Death Rattle, Twisted Tales, Alien Encounters and don't forget Tales Of Terror! A lot had beautiful John Bolton covers but this one is by Joe Chiodo with interior art and stories by Bolton, Bissette and, of course, Bruce Jones!
  8. While not BA Horror but not modern either as it's from 1986, a cool B/W horror series nontheless. This title by FantaCo Enterprises Inc. is not listed in Overstreet. Should there be an Infinite Copper Horror thread? Precode Keith, I would like to see your opinion on this series, maybe a future review in an issue of HCR?
  9. I know these books are reprints but they sport some awesome wraparound covers I thought I would post. This is issue # 2 although it clearly shows # 1 on the cover!
  10. Much good luck and hey, don't stay away too long ya hear...the ghouls will get restless!
  11. Great covers OF! I agree completly on the last one, it's a stunner!

Only kidding, He definitly has some nice books, you will like 'em mucho! Welcome fellow Charlton collector!
  13. I sure will! Yes, I fall into that completist catagory, can't really define it, but there's that certain thrill of adding those last precious issues to a long time collected run! And Pov it wasn't till I joined these boards, read up on the strict grading, then realized that that I'd better go back and reassess my books that I started upgrading certain issues. Case in point; I had a run of The Witching Hour completed many years ago, when I went back to regrade I found about 15 issues that had water damage and a totally rusted bottom staple! My goal now is to have everything VF+ and up, I can't always afford the cream of the crop, but if I see it at a good price well, Hehe maybe...
  14. Is this a romance book too? Only if you love giant purple Tequila worms!
  15. Just finishing my Scary Tales run! Only need 38, 42 & an upgrade of that pesky 46! Then it's on to the Baron!
  16. And speaking of Doug Sulipa and Charlton, this is part of what I received today from him. These are all Manitoba copies.
  17. Just by coincidence I was looking at this book on Mile High's site and said to myself..."Self, this has got to be the best "injury to eye" cover of the Bronze Age!"
