  1. Batmanis - In all seriousness, many of us have children your age. While I applaud your entrepreneurial spirit, you need to stop this behaviour immediately. It is CRIMINAL, meaning you could get in serious trouble with the law and have a permanent record that will follow you around your entire life. I think based on your posts and PMs that you are actually smart enough to know what you were doing is wrong. Trust me it's never worth the risk. Stay in school, study hard, graduate, go to college, get a nice job that pays well. Then buy comics.
  2. Classic post on the DK set.... http://boards.collectors-society.com/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=1460059&fpart=136 "To those accusing me of scamming in my dark knight returns 9.8 cgc ss thread, you are not exactly wrong but I truly wasn't scamming you. What I wanted to do was provide images of a cgc ss set so that you would pay the money to paypal and then I would use that money to buy a non ss 9.8 set to get signed and regraded, which I was going to ship to you. Again I offered returns. Plus given paypals buyer protection with goods and services ( as i would detail the return policy in the paypal invoice) you would get your money back if i didn't give a return. Also if the set regraded less than 9.8 then I would've bought a 9.8 ss and sent it to you. As again I wasn't trying to scam though only make money. Though the method may have been a little unorthodox if you do the math it provides great profit margins."
  3. funny how a bad transaction can haunt someone here for years. I don't see him on the list. Did he ultimately make amends for whatever landed him there? If so and he payed for a book from a fellow boardie and the seller decides to refund with no explanation and not sell why is that ok with everyone? He somewhat made amends for his PL nomination. Basically, he was nominated, had a whatever attitude about it, and was added. I guess it was finally explained well enough to him that he's gonna have problems continuing buying and selling if he didn't get his head out of his arse. So he emailed the seller to buy the book after all, but the book was already sold. So the seller was satisfied enough to have him removed from the PL. But not enough, I'm sure, to be removed from several personal lists. I have no idea the reason for the current refund, because it was extremely vague. But he mentioned himself something about a continuing headache, so who knows without more info. Yeah, I just read some of the history. Bad attitude initially for sure. I think the seller, if he had the guys cash just needed to put the damn thing in the box and send. Agree more background would be needed. Not sure we'll see any. Here's the timeline in a nutshell: 1. Seller pm'd invoice on 4/6. 2. Payment sent on 4/7. 3. On 4/14. pm'd seller on status of shipment. 4. On 4/22, still no response from seller. Requested a tracking #. Few days later, seller responded saying he thought pacakage arrived and would provide me the tracking #. 4. On 4/28, no response back with tracking #. Requested for a refund. 5. On 5/2, rec'd fefund. Well...it sucks that the seller didn't provide the tracking number and you didn't get the books. But it sounds like you requested a refund on 4/28 and then received it on 5/2. Personal lists notwithstanding, why would this be Probation List worthy? seller reneged on a deal. Provided his information to accept payment, was paid and never followed through. Why wouldn't that be PL worthy? Sellers here can just decide to take an interest free loan for 3 weeks? Maybe the book got hot and/or realized he could get more elsewhere. All of these should be no-nos. If the buyer still wants the book the seller should be outed and made to follow-through on this.

  7. MISSION ACCOMPLISHED RMA--- your single comment quote has this guy convinced I both hate you and that my only thought is you are wasting your time. Well played. God forbid they read the very next line in the original-- nope-- no need, let RMA edit it down to what he feels are the important points. ridiculous and not what I said at all. I read your your entire post. You cast judgement on what your perception is of RMA. In a negative light no less. Your following statements were a lame attempt to balance it out. I don't know either of you but dude, that was so obvious. Peace.
  8. Haters gona hate RMA. Kudos for exposing this guy and also giving him a hard time and calling him out on his repeated BS. Maybe just maybe he'll think twice next time or at least switch his story up. To the "Dude" who thinks RMA gets off on this, sorry I don't see it that way.
  9. Sending my books to Australia, no I don't think so. That case is fugly. What's up with the black widow on the label?
  10. Before the natives get restless with all the OT talk. http://boards.collectors-society.com/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=9291681&fpart=9 I started this with consoles in mind but feel free to bastardize to include arcade games.
  11. Can someone update the list please with DennisRodmanofSS nominated by Ultramanking? Looks like crikets from this guy and another boardie Seanfingh, is putting him up on the 7th. Think there is sufficient info to put him on the PL now provided by Ultra to warn other folks from dealing with him. Thanks.
  12. You get my vote to have him added. Reading PMs is not a prerequisite to being put on the PL. IMO he dropped the ball on this one. Some may debate that the clock should start ticking on April 5th. Let's see what the board elders have to say.
  13. Seems fairly cut and dry. You do need to send him that seperate PM telling him he has been nominated to the PL. What was the timeline(date) from when he stated he'll pay you tomorrow and the last PM you sent him requesting a status? Also are the PMs showing as being read by him?
  14. Hopefully someone who knows him personally can at least let us know he's ok. I remember my first big purchase off these boards was from ChicksCosmicComics and the poor gent has passed in a tragic accident with alot of deals pending. Thankfully JunkDrawer was able to get resolution to all those outstanding deals. As a result I'm always on edge when a boardie goes dark during or right after a sales thread.
  15. Several PMs sent but no response Did you send a seperate PM to him notifying that you intend to have him nominated for the probation list? If not you should do that ASAP. If you have already done this let the discussion begin. Do you have a link to the sales thread he posted the I'll take it in? If it was done via PM you should post that conversation where he stated he was commiting to buy this book from you here in this thread. when you post here, be sure to omit any personal information about yourself and the other person, including addresses, phone #, email, real name, paypal info, etc. Looks like there is some recent history on this gent although appears that nomination was withdrawn but not nesc resolved. http://boards.collectors-society.com/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=3267425&fpart=3326

  17. The hits just keep on rollin for me.... innerjoycollectibles Not 5 minutes after he wins my 7 day auction for a $250 book I receive the following message: "Hello, It looks like I will not be able to purchase your item. I thought I would have enough funds but I will not. If you could please send a cancellation request, that would be great. Thank you for your understanding. -Ralph" Why do I continue to torture myself with this ebay slop?
  18. I've heard too many horror stories of things going sideways when people pre-sell without books in hand. I personally stay clear of this both as a buyer and a seller.
  19. I want to bump this guy, 2012captainjack. I wish I saw this posting. Won a low $$ WD slab from me. He receives the book and initiates a return as item not as advertised and damaged plus he states he didn't receive it in time for his "gift giving party". OK, whatever, I accept the return and even pay for the return shipping. FTR I had received a bunch of new slabs from CGC and pack very securely but I aim to please so accept the return no questions asked. Over a month goes by with no book, contact ebay to let them know about the unreturned item case still open. Next day I get a Neg from him stating no communication & no feedback. All communication was sent through the return he initiated! Sent him a note stating the situation so he proceeds to tell me that the neg was for no communication, no respect and no feedback. I tell him I'd leave him the FB if and when I get the book back. Fortunately I don't make my living selling comics and if he comes back with some other BS to remove the neg I will give him a nicely worded FU. No way I'll be blackmailed. I'm hating ebay more and more these days.
