  1. Not to change the subject from this serious discussion or anything, but to change the subject...here's the worst example of a Circle 8 book I found in my collection...I have no idea where it came from...
  2. Hmmm...let's see... Nope, don't look anything alike...
  3. Well, I haven't gotten around to putting up more high grade issues yet...but here's the 3rd Official (according to me) classic Fish in the Face cover:
  4. I own every GA superhero comic I want, except the unatainable Tec 27...but, that doesn't really give you list...does it...oh well...
  5. Yeah...but you'll get yours...bwahahahahaa...
  6. We all checked the sold listings on eBay...
  7. Hmmm...we'uns has got us a biddin' war I reckon...I'll go $76 each...take that ya puddin' headed bushwhacker...
  8. Well...I think I can save you a lot of trouble and money. There's a couple Diary Secrets there that I'll give ya $50 apiece fer...whaddaya say there, pardner? Deal?
  9. Maybe if you'd posted some scans from the "Hot Jewish Babes" photo spread, you might have gotten some response. :: I didn't think that would fit the theme of this thread...
  10. OK, so nobody thought my HEEB cover was funny...what-ever... However, I just found this in my pile of Jimmy's...the absolute WORST Circle 8 pedigree copy in existence (I suspect). No wonder they took away the pedigree status...
  11. So...yer sayin' it's a good'n aye? Hmmm. You know, I've had that book since early 1977. I bought it at a now defunct Des Moines, Iowa comic shop for $20. I have no idea how it stayed so nice and fresh looking after going thru about 8 moves over the years...
  12. Here's four of my favorite high grade duck books:
  13. Uuuummmm doggies...them looks nice...
  14. Here's a couple I have that seem to be higher grade than what is reported at MCS.com
  15. Dr. Love, how accurate are the census listings for CGC at My Comic Shop.com? Are they up to date?
  16. That doesn't look like Wayne Boring. He was the worst Superman artist to ever draw the comic...he always drew Supes flying feet first...what a schmuck...
  17. Then, boy howdy, will you sure want to avoid that sale! You're probably right... I have bought only one slabbed book, and promptly cracked the plastic and put it in a Mylar. It cost me $100 under guide and was only a 6.5 FYI, there is one less Crime Does Not Pay #33 that is graded 6.5...
  18. Yes, list them here and in the sales thread, and show us scans! However, be aware that there are people like me who will not buy an encapsulated book...no matter what it is...unless it's really cheap. Because then, I will take it out of that holder and put it in a mylar where it belongs... I don't care as much about actual grades as I do about eye appeal.
