  1. Looking for a minor page panel page from the original (1995-1996) X-Men Age of Apocalypse story line - i.e., a page from one of the following: X-Calibre Amazing X-Men Astonishing X-Men Weapon X Factor X X-Men: Alpha or Omega Bonus points for a page with Magneto PM with what you have please
  2. ASM 129 Conan 1 Tomb of Dracula 10 House of Secrets 92 Swamp Thing 1 X-Men 129 + 141 (I also feel like you should have a 142 to complete that epic story) Green Lantern 76 Green Lantern 87 Superman 233 Hulk 180 Batman 232 Batman 227 Batman 251 Saw you had a Bats 251 - so Replace with Hero for Hire 1 Detective Comics 411 Marvel Premiere 1 Those would be my 16 - but I could be persuaded to also add: Hero for Hire 1, Marvel Premiere 15 and a few others (I am sure there are some Marvels I am forgetting).
  3. I believe they will put "Len Wein written on 1st Page in Ink" As for submitting them - yes on the GSXM1 and Hulk 181, and I think anything above a 7.0 on the Hulk 180 and 182 (even lower on the 180 since it is the first "cameo/appearance" - not trying to start this debate again)
  4. Totaled (especially if I-Beam is damaged/bent) Salvage = not sure how this works in the US, but if you are saying waht you can buy it at to repair as a salvaged title then $2,775 if you are saying what it would sell for fully repaired as a salvaged title then $6,750
  5. Are there any Toronto shops who are doing a Jim Lee signing or taking subs in advance of Fan Expo for signing?
  6. Agreed - no tweaking needed. Determining on the case or on the book is part of the contest (I have guessed wrong several times and it has cost me - but it is part of figuring things out). Well run contest - no need for changes!
  7. Thor 165 is a Silver Age book Should X-Men 137 be on the list - seems like a key X-Men book of the era, but that doesn't necessarily make it a key ......
  8. I want to like this show (as DD and Jessica JOnes were good series) - but Iron Fist was sooooooo terrible it is going to be hard (maybe they kill him off in episode two )
  9. Depends on the page and the collector. I wanted a Herb Trimpe and Len Wein signature and did not want it on a full comic (i.e., did not want to pay for a Hulk 180 or 181 signed by both of them) so I picked up the Wolverine Ad page from Dardevil signed by both for a very small sum - I think it looks great with my Hulk 180 and my future Hulk 181. I would buy a page from Action 1, Tec 27 and maybe Cap 1 if the price was right (especially the Action 1 )
  10. I cannot believe that Star Wars 107 was a 9.8 the top left front corner and the back right upper corner alone should have knocked it to a 9.4 IMO not to mention the other stuff I thought I saw - but all that matters is that it was a 9.8 ...... I felt really confident about my 9.2 selection
  11. I would say a solid 4.0 maybe a 4.5 depending on that crease on the back (it looks a little discoloured)
  12. It is also a scarcity thing with Adventure 247 + iconic cover .....
  13. For such a "common" book - I am having a hard time finding one on the boards in 7.0 ...... someone has to have one they want to sell right
  14. I think the important question that nobody is asking is did your buddy get his modern SS submission books .......
  15. I agree with the ripples in the glass - but I don't see the red cape in his glasses, I just see the green light (but maybe I am blind) - anyone got a screen shot that can point this out? Although, I did catch the apparent Supergirl easter egg in that trailer (discussed above) - but still don't see the red cape in Alfred's glasses ....
