so this week I got batman 445, 450-451, 458-473, 475-496, and 498-499 for my copper books.

I wish my older posts were still around to view as I had one. In 2016, I had a tape pull on a batman 227. right at the bottom near the dogs. Someone here bought it I remember

I was browsing reddit today and this book was being discussed as having a kool aid pack insert. I know about the tattooz insert and how it being missing can give you a qualified label, but haven't found anything about this particular book. The only one I found is on another grading company label, and while it mentions it on that label, what I don't know if it is still inside the book or not. Where it is not really flat I would think it would not be possible to grade it with the kool aid still inside. The bigger question then is if it isn't required, what makes it different than the tattooz?

A couple more in for the day, got 458-461, 470-499, and then 580-607 today. There are some random books higher up I am missing but it’s really close to being done. what’s left to get is the stuff that will cost more, especially 423.

I saw this video about 10 min after it was posted and I had wondered if this would get any traction here. Oh boy was I right! The part I find fascinating with this is how calm and collected he is describing what will ultimately look like a chainsaw hacked into the book afterwards. He says it like he does this every day which is messed up.

Working on a batman run, and picked up 500-566 today. My goal is to start around post crisis so 404 forward. i have 608-713 almost done, but this is my first bit of copper books

16 books to go for 608-713. I've been toying with the idea of going post crisis to then, which would start at the year one story, just don't know if I feel like doing that or not. I am trying to get the big one out of the way, 423, but it's tough finding a raw copy I am okay with getting.

Oh yeah forgot about players choice. I bought stuff there in April. they had a lot of books, lots of newer stuff, but there was a huge variety. like I said follow coastal comics on FB to keep up to date with the hours. From what I could see on their page, there is some medical issues likely which is why the hours can be wonky.

I had sent my WW184 and a batman book to get pressed as I didn't see any CB on the covers and any defects could get fixed easily. Was right on both and now they look quite fantastic, well even better than before.

So I haven’t decided where I want to start at. I have it right now at 608, so the hush storyline, to 713. (Which I have 27 to go, all common books) and then probably the other volumes too so it would be current. or I could go the other direction and go with older books. I really wonder if they decide to switch back to regular numbering or will it always be legacy numbering. No rush either way I guess

coastal comics in surfside the town over from MB. it should take you about 20 min to get there from where you are at, depending on traffic by far the best store in the area. his hours are a bit weird so would suggest following his facebook page to check that day. I went on a wednesday last month while I was there for vacation.

I got 55/56 together for 74 which I thought was good for the pair.

Yeah it was really cool for sure. The 66 batman was super cool to see. For 608-713, I have 27 books to go. I had picked up 655 and 656 last week for a pretty good deal so the rest are all fairly common books in the run. on new 52, I now have 1-17, getting death of the family story arc last week.

From 608-713, I have like 30 issues to go now. last weekend I got 635 which was the priciest of the modern run. For new 52, I have court of owls done and then the other random Jock covers throughout that volume 2. vol 3 is pretty sparse though with only a couple of the books, all jock covers.

The changing art styles was really cool too!

I bought from crown_point_toys getting some batman books. the packaging was solid and the 19 books were wrapped secure, yet usps struck and a bunch of books got corner crunches. It really must have struck hard as I’m not sure how it happened with all the padding on the books. anyway, we worked out a compromise. I would totally buy from them again. from what I gather reading online, they have a physical store in IN as well as their ebay store.

I can agree with that. There was a logo change and so it felt fresh. Your post actually was in such agreement with me, I am now working on that to current batman

I went to a local store I hadn’t been to in years. glad I did as I picked this up. it has a a light stacking curl that should be able to fix easily. Didn’t see any cbc on it otherwise.

I think a green label suits hulk for obvious reasons, even if he isn't green in this one.

I have been out of the comic world for about 3 years and had never heard of this other company making mylar and boards. Their pricing looks pretty good, I think I am going to get some
